Prefer BATC, especially now with the traffic added. I think they will keep updating it and add functionality. The interface is pretty straightforward.

I wouldn't recommend BATC at all. It's not ready and still full of bugs to basic ATC functions. 

IE: I flew into KALS tonight in a CJ4. I setup an ILS approach and instead the ATC wanted to vector me for manual approach to a DIRT RUNWAY. And when I asked to change it, it gave me the same bug it does everytime which is a basic runaround which results in being given the runway change and then having the ATC revert back to the old one. 

And this isn't a one-off situation, it's done this OVER and OVER again to me. I don't fly large airliners, and I don't often fly into large airports. I suspect nobody is really testing this beyond those, because every airport I fly to winds up with this situation. 

I finally asked for, and to their credit, received a full refund tonight. I might check back later to see if it's any better, but then they banned me from their discord, which seems petty. I'll take my biz elsewhere at this point. 

From the features available it has to be SayIntentions. 

It´s fully AI. It has VFR. It has IFR. It has Navigraph Data. It has a TaxiTuner-Feature. Progressive Taxi Lines.
Tour-Tuner. Lots of interactive Cabin Crews. A Co-Pilot who handles the radios for you. 14 languages. 

I forgot several other features but compare for yourself. 

SI here as well. New features and improvements come all the time, and traffic will be added after MSFS2024 is released. BATC is not bad, but I have to keep repeating myself with it - that is not needed with SI.

Aren't you one of the developers of SI? Might want to add that as a disclaimer...

Sorry that I continue to bother you with my questions about BATC.

 

If BATC does not hot have an option to select approach/runway different from ATIS reading, may I set a pre-determined flight plan with fixed elements such as departing runway, SID, STAR, approach, arriving runway to avoid any "surprises"?

Yeah, I just ask for what I want, and they usually give it to me. I understand that may be tightened up a bit down the road. I routinely ask for a different approach and always get it.

You can also type into a text box if you don´t want to talk to ATC.

What an odd and unprofessional response.

You clearly have a conflict of interest here. Someone is asking for opinions on a product. If you are affiliated with that product because you work for them then you should make that clear for the sake of transparency. You have a very different motivation than someone giving an opinion as a customer.

Commercial members normally have a commercial tag. How difficult is it to add one? Not that hard.
