September 23, 20241 yr Hello, Since I use PSXT exclusively for AI traffic movements in MSFS, I'm interested in purchasing ATC Add-one that provides the best immersion possible for IFR-flying. By best immersion I mean realistic handling from Delivery to Parking at destination, proper dealing with vectors, assigning SID/STARs, ability for user to override instructions by requesting different runways/procedures. I guess that in the meantime I have to choose between BATC and FSHud, but if you have anything else in mind, please let me know. Again, handling AI traffic is outside the scope of my interests, as I have another software to for this purpose to deal with. Thank you, Dmitriy. September 23, 20241 yr If you need no AI traffic and it's only about polishness / procedure completeness, it's P2ATC by a large margin. I don't find it quite immersive, though, due to the voices and old-school (read: bad) voice recognition, but you've done your own definition of immersion. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I mean I prefer not to deal with voice-recognition practices. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

September 23, 20241 yr One of the major things you also need to ask is where you primarily tend to fly. The phraseology, terms and even procedures vary immensely between North America and Europe as well as I'm sure every other region in the world. Personally I tend to steer clear of all of them as I don't want US style ATC when I'm in Europe or even in Canada etc, just the same as not wanting a European ATC while operating in North America. The same can be said of course when in the other continents as well. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
September 23, 20241 yr I use BATC along with PSXT and it works really well if you simulate IFR flying, especially using SIDs and STARs. Other than a few of the quirks with Vectors, etc I think BATC is well worth getting even without the traffic (I do not own the Supporters version with beta traffic). I actually have no interest in using the traffic feature since I use PSXT and also an ATC-Chatter program that I keep on low volume. It does generally use what Simbrief has and I have not been stuck with odd/unrealistic runways in the past couple months of using it even though you can now request changes if you do it early enough. However I do realize that there is no solution on the FS Market that differentiate efficiently between US/EU/AU/NZ, hence I have to compromise 🙂 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.
September 23, 20241 yr It’s not out yet but the preview videos of VoxATC are looking good, if you’re not in a rush. its currently highest on my radar in this genre
September 23, 20241 yr Another vote for SayIntentions. But the market is crowded with capable ATC addons nowadays. EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12

As much as it's my preferred choice I WOULDN'T get it just yet as a new version is due out this month, which does upgrade the voices somewhat - will still work without voice from what I understand. Although I did buy it to use without voice and now use voice every flight. There's a free (10 day?) trial on their website - and there will be a trial of the new version. September 23, 20241 yr Sayintentions for immersion. Not the cheapest but difficult to go back. Trying the 24h demo is worth a shot.

I just can't fly without it anymore. FWIW, my son is a RW pilot and a flight simmer. When I showed him SIAI he was very impressed. That said, while traffic in SIAI is way ahead of what is was, it is work in progess to be rolled out incrementally. September 23, 20241 yr Just now, TuomasV said: Sayintentions for immersion. Not the cheapest but difficult to go back. Trying the 24h demo is worth a shot. I have used both BATC and SI. The OP wants a program that has "proper dealing with vectors, assigning SID/STARs,". While neither are perfect, SI fails in this area most of the time (ie, assigning completely irrelevant STAR's based on your arrival direction regardless of your SB filed arrival, assigning runways/approaches that do not exist, vectors when already established on final, etc). But it does have a 24h trial... Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11
