Turns out that was totally unnecessary.  Just disable the Sept navdata for the time being.  Easy peasee.  No over reaction here. Just some patience and paying attention to posts from credible sources.  Very nice flight just completed.  No CTD.

Thanks.  Glad to see you didn't over react.

Hmmm, supongo que esta es una forma de convencer a la gente de que cambie a su nuevo planificador de simulación en MS2024. Nuke Navigraph con un error CTD.

Really this is the way to convince us to buy 2024 day 1, in all patches there are always some problems I can't imagine how 2024 can come out.

This update is currently downloading at the astonishing rate of 2Mbps. It will take over an hour to download a 1.1GB file

Use a VPN for MSFS downloads.  I use to see 2Mbps, but on VPN I see over 100Mbps.

I didn't have any problems loading the sim, so I didn't remove the Navigraph base package, so I didn't think this would affect me.

Wrong!

A little over an hour into a flight with the PMDG 777, I stepped away from the computer to finish up some laundry. When I came back, the sim had crashed to desktop.

Well played, ASOBO, well played...

😅🤣

This is what happens if you don't do what was written everywhere, namely uninstalling Navigraph, so it's simple your own fault !

cheers 😉

Is this confirmed? If I switch to 2024 then the deliberately injected bugs will go away?

Their master plan was to intentionally brick possibly the single most used third-party tool for simming in order to make you use their own tool that doesn't exist in the current sim, isn't out for a month and a half with the new one, and makes them no additional money. And they would've gotten away with it too if weren't for you meddling kids.

That or it was a bug.

Yeah it’s not just navigraph. I’m crashing all the time without navigraph. Asobo’d

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but apparently there's a workaround to keep using Navigraph:

As an alternative to disabling the AIRAC Cycle 2409 package in Navigraph, a different workaround is to uninstall the “Bush Trip - Scotland” package from World Update 17: United Kingdom and Ireland. This will allow you to continue using Navigraph along with AAU3.

Why should i do that I'd rather leave out Nafigraph because it works without it, we have MSFS Data, at last for me. And MS has already identified the error so there will be a fix very quickly - i assume.

cheers 😉

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Update took 30 seconds to install, started up MSFS, no problems.????

Same same.  I must be living clean I seem to hardly ever have any issues with this sim when this kind of stuff surfaces.  Installed the update last night, rebooted, went to bed and started a 3h flight this morning, 2h into it no issues.
