October 1, 20241 yr There are reports of MSFS crashing on start up after todays (01 Oct 2024) Avionics Update. Seems to be if you are using Navigraph data in the community folder. If occurs, remove it until resolved.
October 1, 20241 yr This update is currently downloading at the astonishing rate of 2Mbps. It will take over an hour to download a 1.1GB file Edited October 1, 20241 yr by Christopher Low Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
October 1, 20241 yr What an outstanding update. I mean, I could understand if the CTD happened because of some rubbish little utility that hardly anyone uses, but.....Navigraph? Seriously?? October 1, 20241 yr Hmmm, I guess this is one way to convince people to switch to their new in sim planner in MS2024. Nuke Navigraph with a CTD bug. Eric

Hopefully it's something that Navigraph can find a solution to. Until then, I'll go with the Challenger.... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

G Just remove the Navdata folder from the community folder, it's not that hard. Base MSFS already has up to date NavData anyways. This crash doesn't happen with the external navdata used by PMDG and Fenix. Edited October 1, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
October 1, 20241 yr I'm with you Bob! Community folder full of stuff all the way with Navigraph ticking along as usual. It's good to be a lucky pilot.
October 1, 20241 yr Crash here also. Removed the Navdata file of Navigraph and no problem. Wanting for a solution...
October 1, 20241 yr 29 minutes ago, Flyfaster_MTN002 said: What is Navigraph?! 🙂 A company that has provided navigation data and matching Jeppeson charts to the sim community for many years. They also purchased the SimBrief flight planner which integrates with their products. MSFS has its own navigation database that is regularly updated used by the included aircraft and avionics, so Navigraph is more of a luxury item today. PMDG and some other third-party aircraft only use Navigraph navigation data rather than the navdata in the sim. October 1, 20241 yr What does the navigraph data folder do? I've removed it so my sim will load but I don't seem to be missing anything, charts etc all there as normal
October 1, 20241 yr Is this just fixed yet? Haven't updated or launched the sim, would rather just wait until the fix is in.
