Sure. But you did not read the FBW documentation from their Website? All mentioned there

Thanks a lot! I figured it out.
Thanks again.

  • I would say with a high margin of safety that this is the biggest community achievement in the history of Flight Simulation as a whole, and not even by a small margin.

  • click spot to disable the cabin. I found it helped a bit with VRAM performance

  • So far I am mind blown. It seems to be much better than I've expected. I still need to do a full flight on it, but just playing a bit with the avionics I can see that a lot of effort has been put into

Anyone with FPS and/or RAM issues, try disabling simbridge. While you will use terrain display capabilities, the performance increase appears to be significant.

Disabling the cabin also increases the performance. Cabin can be disabled by clicking the left of the three signs on the upper side of the wall behind the FOs seat.

Just upgraded to a 4080 Super and 7950x3D. Didn't think I'd see such low FPS so soon into my purchase haha. Gonna hold off on flying this for a bit after having the same issues this morning even at default airports.

GSX doesn't recognise the park brake as being set, any ideas?

Yearh, it's really heavy on FPS/performance on my computer. Whew... Will hold off flying it, until they've optimized it a bit. And here I thought, that the Fenix was heavy on FPS...

Like many other, I was struggling with framerate but as per the FBW recommendation, I lowered my texture settings from ULTRA to HIGH and it made a huge difference. (this is on the 4K texture version).

Im still amazed that this is freeware. Given the quality of the addon and how much interest it has generated, it would be nice to see MS/ASOBO make a donation to FBW by way of thanks and encouragement.

Too bad this won't work for me. At 1080p, I'm still main thread limited, and my GPU has still power to spare.

Too bad this is the only thing separing this addon from perfection (if we can call the A380 external appearance as "beautiful" 😝)

I have a 4090 and it can’t even take more than tiny bites of this. It’s just not ready imho. I will be holding off as well though a new mod was just released on .to that I might try to downscale the textures. 🤷

Oh man first flight was not good, loaded up my green honu at Honolulu, get every thing perfect. very excited.  Get out to 8R, get lined up and and put the throttle to MCT/FLX.... and a second later.  You have overstressed your aircraft.  Uhhhh what?

First thing every flight simmer should do is turn off all the collision and stress settings lol

Yes. Especially for addons, it's very common to overstress your plane doing something that shouldn't overstress it at all. It's not the addon developer's fault, it's the way crash/overstress detection works in the sim.

Funny you say that, I have no problems with high quality addons such as the iFly, Fenix, and PMDG.

Up to you, but the settings are known to be very inconsistent and inaccurate and the general advice is to have them set to off. They can cause issues, clearly.
