Anyone with the WinWings FCU having issues after this update? Mine isn't working anymore 😞

Probably needs a WinWing update since it's a different airframe in the sim. It works on the a319 (no SL, natch) but I think I had to use Mobiflight to get it to work on the 321SL.

Has anyone else had the aircraft folders missing from the community folder after the upgrade? Had to remove then re-add the packages in the installer.

Weird, maybe a fluke. Thx all.

yep did  the upgrade, went  into sim  found  out  had  no  fenix  aircraft at all,  went  to the community folder  all folders  were  there.  Had to do  the  uninstall/ reinstall  least  the installer  was  easy  to use 🙂

Hi:

I haven't had time to install update but I'm curious, how do you add the ACT to the A321?  Is there an option in the EFB or FMGC?

What's the KG/LBS difference in fuel between the A321 with/without the ACT.

Thank you!

Should be 2,347 kgs / 5,175 lbs per ACT.

Specific liveries have been created with ACTs added – see here

Anyone how knows how to change a cfg file could always try to force the issue by going to the fnx-aircraft-321-liveries/SimObjects/Airplanes/[desired livery]/aircraft.cfg file. Add the line 'fnx_act_count = 1' (or 2) to the aircraft config lines at the bottom of the file.

Well, I have to say that I misunderstood that ACT thing completely , and I realized that not all their liveries include extra ACT, 1 or 2...I wanted to ask but couldn't figure how to log in to Discord either...LOL. I even "opened" a ticket, but manage to figure in the mean time, that current 2 ACT config are installed only on AA, some JB, one OH and I believe one RA livery by default and only on IAE engines...! Amir indeed mentioned that "some world airlines like AA and JB" have installed and obviously he did as well, which is nice.

I wasn't aware of that. I thought we would have some option somewhere etc. Anyhow, I downloaded one IAE livery I checked cfg file to see the difference and found it there. Default is ACT=0, you can change yourself to 1 or 2, save and good to go. Now I managed GSX to load full 51460 lbs (as per SimBrief) of fuel to be able to make 3211 nm. And it feels heavy with 200K lbs TOW, but taxi beautifully and ground handling is excellent. So far so good. Very smooth....

I like the .cfg mod but Fenix made the model to replicate the real thing.  So if you mod the .cfg, how does the modification work with airplane not meant for ACT?  There are no overhead switches for the ACT and will the fuel appear in the correct tanks on the ECAM displays?

I appreciate Fenix’s attention to realism but I wish they “cheated” on this kinda like FSLabs.

I tried to compare...and I couldn't see any difference in two cfg but ACT amount... So I assume that works. If someone noticed anything else or if this is not correct way please advise. But I believe that centre (shown on ECAM) are acting as such with proper amount of fuel. I made a long flight but haven't paid attention. I will do it tomorrow hopefully on return back to base....

Fenix produces incredible products and the fact that they don’t buckle and dime us to death by forcing us to pay for these updates is really a testament to who they are as a company and people.  I’ll continue to support them and purchase anything they put out.

Two flights yesterday with the fenix a321 and a320 both were flawless and beautiful. Could not be happier!

B6 and AA are big adopters of the ACTs since the A321 is used on transcons (at B6 it was why we bought the 321 anyways) and it helps reduce "BOS-SEA nonstop via DEN" syndrome that our A320s suffered in the winter.

Most 321s out there don't have the ACT bladders so it shouldn't be a default option, great to have though. It's not a ton of gas but it's huge at certain stage lengths.
