November 19, 20241 yr At the 1 hour point, downloaded and slowly installing. At 16% VFS Activating packages…

After 20 mins, still at 10% activating packages. But the planner looks quite nice! Charts, etops, fuel planning. I like it quite a lot!
November 19, 20241 yr I was able to load all the way into the menus, it recognized my 2020 account and asked me to restart so I could access it. Unfortunately, the second load isn't faster - must be looking at downloading something each time (language files). Hopefully something they will update.

It's not clear whether we will still need it or not for our payware FMS's I don't use payware FMS's for me it's not premature. 😉 Still can't add procedures automatically to the plan... My sim is stuck loading so I have the time to figure things out but it's not as easy as it seems. The options the planner has are extemely complete though... Wow...!
November 19, 20241 yr Stuck at 9% for an hour now! FS's (stupid, boring, mind-boggling, elevator) music kept on playing even with the software being sent to background, so I had to manually shut it off via the soundmixer, because guess what: I'd like to use my PC while this turtling download and activation is going on. WHAT were they thinking? Global & simultaneous release with NO option to pre-download - at least for steam users. What a disgrace and what a bad first impression

November 19, 20241 yr For those with a limited budget the included planner and chart might be a perfect option.

Reading the 'default aircraft' manuals, some of which have been updated, the new inibuilds aircraft still only use simbrief in their EFB. ...
