Not a big fan of the UI so far.  Have managed to load and short fly the Cessna.  Feels much like 2020 did day one.  Much setup remaining on my part.  Good luck to all!

To everyone panicking about issues - it's been 90 minutes. They will almost certainly have engineers working today to combat load issues. Give them some time.

disappointing launch !!

I am really looking forward to the airport reviews for PD vs standard. Will it be worth it for EGLL, EDDF, EHAM, KORD, KDEN amd KSFO?

Don't even need engineers working on it, most likely just good old fashioned user DDoS due to influx of connections on a new product. A tale as old as time with any server dependant game. Yet some people are throwing a complete tantrum over it. Gonna slowly resolve as the days progress.

How do you enter the cockit?

Cessna flying in circles, no control. Esc won't bring up the menu.

Regardless if other devs have done it, if you are telling people to pre order to play day one, the least they expect is to play day one in a timely manner... Otherwise don't get people to pre order...

I just hope they don't break MSFS 2020 in all of this as mine is running perfectly.

The controls are a mess. For the last  40 minutes im trying to enter the cockpit and assign my views and stuff. Nothing seems to work

Had to close it with Task Manager as it just stopped when I tried to load the B737 MAX.. Starting it again will take another hour. This is streaming at its best. Going back to MSFS2020. Sorry MS/ASOBA, this is not good.

 Stuck at 12% for 90 minutes, now.

Playing with the planner...auto-routed a flight from Heathrow to Charles De Gaulle and it took me via LON.
That's LONgyear (Svalbard) within the artic circle, 1646 NM north, then 1666 NM south to DORking and THEN the less than 100 NM to Paris 🙂

Of course it's easy to delete the aberrant waypoint. Really it's only the 'average fuel burn' that's a real issue.

Restarting took about 10 minutes to get to 93% then the 'Unusually long loading blah...'

EDIT: While I was typing it went to 97%.
