Can this stupid game really only be installed on C:\? Seriously, Asobo?

No, I was able to install on a different drive.

I'm beginning to think that releases like these should be staggered.

how about seniority like elsewhere, like those with 10.000 hours in their log book download first. 🤣

Oh no. I got to the menu setup my graphics, assistance, and avatar. I exited and restarted my pc. This time with yoke, throttle, and pedals hooked up and I am 7% loading language. Is this a every launch thing? Did I do something wrong?

This happened to me, though I got to the home screen and clicked on "Free Flight" and the game crashed. Tried opening the game back up and it went back to installing the game.

Well at least the boarding music is considerably better to listen to over and over than the one they had on 2020

This happened to me too. I got it installed, customised and was at the main screen.
Quit out, rebooted PC and now sat stuck at 6% loading language again. Sigh

It looks like we only bought the loading screen. 140 euros, not the cheapest of load screens and not the most expensive either...

Seems pretty good too, I wasn't expecting an off-line planner, with chart access and all 🙂

yeah, cool to do planning on phone or ipad and then send it to the simulator. like it! Just need to do the fuel planning myself, I am afraid 😉

Hey! I can't launch FS 2020 while downloading FS 2024!
What the h.... ???

The Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder doesn't exist anymore.
Can someone please check if you can launch the "old" sim?

My folder is still there. I'm not sure I want to interfere with the delicate downloading process by launching anything other than Solitaire! Or Firefox of course.

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

quite alarming how it's causing my GPU to work away like crazy just on the loading screen

Wow, mine is gone.
No more FS 2020, that is VERY bad !!!
It has been replaced by Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe
