All the automatic options are odd... and rather useless. Which is why I still use SimBrief (the app the EFB btw). I think this will become better once they add the announced real world routes.
December 5, 20241 yr I really need to have a sit down and play with this over the weekend, I've been used to using the in game World Map to plan routes up until now (I don't use simbrief/navigraph/LNM etc to plan anything only LNM for in game map usage). What I like to do is plan routes with decent vistas, I rarely fly over flat land, so if it has a height map for terrain that l that'd be cool. If not then I hope that could get added one day. I'm all for competition and anti monopoly too but if this pushes Navigraph to do more I'd be interested to see what that is! Don't know a thing what people is talking about. December 5, 20241 yr This could be another example of the wrong (in my opinion) philosophy being employed by the MSFS franchise management (i.e. MS/Asobo) regarding the FS ecosystem. They want absolutely everything. No wonder why deafult AI Traffic, ATC, Camera System, Flight Planner, Weather (I'm maybe missing others, for sure) are still incomplete and nobody knows when they'll be put in an acceptable working condition. Instead of collaborating with specialized developers that know how to do things better, they opted out for everything, like a bureaucratic populist centralized kind of third world government. Sorry if it sounds rude, but I'm hugely disappointed. Bob, Have you been able to determine where the flight plans are located once created and saved at the web site? I am not able to determine how to get them into the MSFS G3000. Good news about the fuel management coming, I will re-evaluate the application in a few weeks. More like $10 US which equals $120. I have nothing against the team at Navigraph because they have been an integral part of our community. The navdata service is also a major reason why they are the standard. Having said that, WT is also great at what they do and are now working with ASOBO. So we need to consider all options. But I see how you feel about ASOBO using the community of experts to improve 2024 and beyond. It still perplexes me that they have not got AIG on board. MSFS
