This is kind of worrying for me. If MSFS pushes an update and for most purposes has nothing to do with the running of the aircraft  i have to subsequently wait on FS Labs to send an update ? So the program wont run ?

Can we get some clarification in regards to this ? If MS pushes an airac update  or some minor patch will the FSLabs product will run or it wont ?

Nothing new from P3D each update the aircraft did not work.

  • As someone who flies the A320 family IRL, worked with Fenix, and also was privileged enough to be given a pre-release copy of FSL to stream, i can give a somewhat balanced view/opinion. Firstly,

Purchased, installed in MSFS 2020.  Missing a lot of functionality that is present in the P3D version … I think this would be fine if promoted as a “lite” version for MSFS.  Still trying to find a feature in MSFS version that is not in the P3D version?

No regrets on spending $70, website was very slow so looks like interest is high.  The most complex aircraft for MSFS (as it was for P3D) … hope this works out for them and future development efforts.

So basically they haven’t changed practices either regards to sim updates.

Thanks but no thanks.

Also good luck, with that price you really gotta be loving the A321… their business decision.

+1. P3D used to drop an updates on yearly based, so was tolerable to some extent but for MSFS, this is very bad

True, but even then it was up to you whether you installed them or not. No choice with MSFS...

Did you have the bus in p3d? Who told you it will stay locked on msfs updates?

No doubt it will be an excellent A321, FSLabs always delivers on that for sure.

However, it probably isn’t different enough than the Fenix that I’ve had for years now, and fly regularly, so I will pass on this one.

Concorde, though, can’t come soon enough.

Why do we need another A321? Why for 2020? Why nearly 70 bucks?! Good luck to them, it will need to be truly wonderous.

That bodes well - so each time there’s an AIRAC update it renders the FSL unusable?

I just updated using the Navigraph hub - no problems.

Yeah, no.

You're presenting a half-cocked FSL A321 "lite" as being better than a fully-fledged Fenix A321.

I'm willing to accept a fully fleshed out FSL A321 as being competitive with Fenix's version. But better than Fenix when it's not even as good as their P3D product? No. Just, no.

I'm talking about the mandatory sim AIRAC updates, not the Navigraph ones which have nothing to do with the sim...

What’s it missing?

It depends on the type of flying you do. If its merely A to B then I tend to agree with you.

Yep I did, I recall that annoying thing to update it whenever P3D update drops

Not everyone's coupling AP at 400 ft and follows the magenta (or green in that case) again, and again and again.....
