I haven't taken the plunge but think I will very soon. Talking 2020 right now but 2024 in due time. It assigns runways based on conditions and favored runways at airports.

Sounds modest but when you are approaching a busy airport, 5 aircraft being vectored in gets mighty busy 😉 So does this infer 5 is an actual value not a relative value? so 5 = 5 AI? For example, with FSHUD I have parked at 50 and active at 50 using AIG and that is 100 AI either parked or airborne. How would I mimic that in BATC? Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

This isn't totally correct. in low wind conditions or favorable wind conditions it will prioritize your SB runway. But if the wind conditions dont meet the local config that would support that runway as being active they will change it. Nick Running

Now iam using voice which is alot easier since i dont need to open up the gui and all i need to do is to push the mic and i get in alot quicker I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

The "push to talk" button goes in and out of availability to press, based on what BATC is doing. There are times where there are indeed gaps in transmission BUT BATC is translating speech (i.e. the reply from the AI traffic) and thats what it says on the button and you cannot press it. Its the time where if it were indeed "push to talk" you would press it but its not available. Its really noticable in heavier traffic. Ive missed descent points (or just had to descend) because I cant get the button to be available long enough to press it...not from other chatter but BATC making the button unavailable while it translates or performs other radio related tasks. I'll perhaps try reducing my sliders (I have everything on 5) and see if that helps)...or, increase yours to 5 and you'll maybe see what I mean ..😉 try using voice you find it easier and you will get in quicker in between all the chatter I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
December 26, 20241 yr I would never want to limit the number of AI planes. I have a massive AIG database, and I would want it running at 100% all the time. The problem I found is not so much how many aircraft are visible (when I use FSLT by itself, I have quite a high number) but, for ATC, I found it is more about the number of instructions and responses coming through to and from each aircraft if you are approaching a busy airport. This is especially impactful if you are being vectored into a landing approach when waiting for instructions to and from 5 other aircraft also coming in can take a long time, by which time you can have covered a lot of airmiles in, potentially, the wrong direction. December 26, 20241 yr I totally understand how that would be a problem. It happened a few times when I was trying to talk to ATC at major airports in P3D.
