December 25, 20241 yr MSFS 24', read the posts on how bad some folks say it is, I figured maybe ?, it's not that bad, give it the benefit of the doubt, YMMV but well...it's bad, it really is bad, load times double 2020', textures worse etc. etc. got a refund, this is a early beta at best even with the latest updates, plenty updates to come to get this software near right, again YMMV, if it works good for you, wonderful.
December 25, 20241 yr You live in alternate universe. 2024 graphic is significantly better than in 2020. I don't know what is a problem in YMMV I have never had a chance explored it. December 25, 20241 yr Yea, there are a lot of issues with 2024 but my load time is consistently under 2 minutes and textures and lighting are much better than 2020. December 25, 20241 yr Ok. There is a reason why people need to add 2024 to their title of their posts so we know which simulator they're talking about. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

To prevent confusion. The CEO/President made their point for a reason. I am merely a member here. Why it should be changed to be tagged as 2024 to prevent confusion. Especially when your main title is very ambiguous like "benefit of the doubt" could mean literally anything. REX? PMDG? 2020? 2024? December 25, 20241 yr My experience with FS 2024 on the same low profile rig (my sig) is: - faster load times; - way better stability in display / smoothness; - way better World scenery, at least in the regions I know from RL and usually fly over IRL; - better detail at the default airports I usually fly to / from; - much more default aircraft even in my Standard version; - better weather rendering than in the latest versions of FS 2020, post SU7; - no problems with the integration with Fenix A320, RealTurb, ASFS, BATC and now since yesterday FSHUD too; The only reason I presently miss FS 2020 is for not being able to use the FSLabs A321 with it, and also the FBW 320 N and their 380 (which I never used because I no longer had FS 2020 installed when it was released), as well as the PMDGs 737, 777, DC-6... But I can calmly wait for those. I have completed a few medium range flights over Europe, with BATC and AI models provided by FSLTL, and so far no quirks, CTDs, stutters or any sort of problems I actually sometimes experienced with FS 2020. Only things I hope to get better with future updates are: weather effects including that really ridiculous modelling of soaring weather, namely thermals, effects of convective clouds, and some details of the tuning of cloud rendering, and flight dynamics which still feel, most of the time, just as arcadish as the flight dynamics were in FS 2020 - that's the major problem with MSFS for me - aircraft fly like as if I was playing Mr Mario flightsim 😕 Edited December 25, 20241 yr by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
December 25, 20241 yr You can't buy an apple, and then depend on YouTube tutorials to understand the Apple , because you have discovered that the apple was a pear. Msfs2024 has appeared with an extraordinary advertising of quality and fun, and thousands of users have encountered errors and bugs that do not have to be. It is not lawful to depend on YouTube tutorials for the product to work as expected. Its not a question of: i like or i dont like. Its a question of: it works or it doesnt work.
December 25, 20241 yr If we can't have separate 2020 and 2024 forums could we at least have a separate 2020/2024 BUG /COMPLAINTS/HELP WANTED thread? This way those of us who actually ENJOY our sims can share some positive experiences instead of this endless random 2024 issue carpet bombing situation? Russell Gough SE London
