Let's get real here. We were misled.

Funny how we all see things different.  You see it as misled and I see it as just another example of something amazingly complex having early bugs.

How about not being so dishonest with your quote?  Personally  I see few bugs that effect my enjoyment of the product.  It may be different for others.

No, I didn't.  I see few bugs that affect my enjoyment of the product.  Your experience may be different.

Sycophancy is kind initially but ultimately it is disastrous.😂

Yet you have said several times it will be fine in the end.

I take it you are helping the community out by reporting the bugs?

There are indeed a lot of bugs Marc. I'm glad you counted them all 😁

No reason to get THAT rude. Your perception is not shared by everyone, probably not even by a majority. Learn to cope with that.

Oh really? I must have missed their public bug votes, wishlists, monthly dev streams, LR-hosted forums etc.

¿De verdad? Debo haberme perdido sus votaciones públicas de errores, listas de deseos, transmisiones mensuales de desarrolladores, foros alojados en LR, etc.

Yes, you are certainly very lost. You also missed out on being a nobody like me and being able to talk to most developers on a personal basis.

Err. Sorry to bang on. But yes they did. Asobo did. Check out the pre release dev video with Seb raising his eyes in disbelief when asked the question as he struggled to think of any addon that would not be compatible. Let's get real here. We were misled.

Marketplace Questions

Will all purchases users have made from the Marketplace be transferable to the new simulator?

With very few exceptions, virtually all add-ons that work in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) today will function in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Add-ons that were purchased from the in-simulator Marketplace will not need to be re-purchased in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Not sure what your point is here?

That there was never any guarantee that all 2020 addons would seamlessly transfer. The FAQ says virtually all, which (from my experience at least) is pretty accurate. The FAQ then goes on about individual developers certifying compatibility with the new sim, etc.

5 years later, unplug my tiller and still CTD, even P3D could handle a USB device drop … maybe it’s a feature … gotta suck on the visual candy more … I mean that’s all that matters right?  I’m just being picking after 2 hour flight and on approach get a CTD because I unplugged my tiller.  Great progress, maybe 2028 or 2032 or 2036 they’ll fix this the french way with lots of red wine.
