February 20, 20251 yr Has anyone know or heard anything about the Majestic Dash 8 being developed for MSFS in the future? I still fly it in PD3v5, but I was wondering if it will ever get developed for MSFS. February 20, 20251 yr I've been patiently waiting for the return of the Majestic Q400...such a remarkable simulation. The updates on their forum are few and far between with the odd mention of staff changes over time. I suspect their commercial interests (training software) are a much larger proportion of their operating income (with "entertainment" flight sim being a much smaller focus, given their resources). Majestic has not yet cancelled their plans to migrate their product to MSFS...the good news, they are still active developers...unlike the old Level-D guys...(yeah...remember them???)

I think they said they are part time developers and they have other jobs, so the progress is slow. You can Google their last update. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
February 20, 20251 yr Also waiting patiently for this. Posted today on their forum: Quote kroswynd 8:08PM Additional Information regarding MSFS 2020/2024: Development on the Q400 is on going but we are still in the process of working to source a modeler to begin on the tasks that need to be done, which will be very time consuming. as progress on this becomes available we will share more information when we deem it necessary to do so. The aircraft on the back end works very well with MSFS2020 although there will need to be some additional work for MSFS2024 as it is fairly new to us as it has new technologies that will certainly provide new opportunities for development. Thanks guys, I miss the Q400. Yes, I remember Level D. They all much disappeared. I still have their B767, one of the best AC released for flight sim. Easy, I read this sentence, I'm not sure how there can really be another conclusion: "we are still in the process of working to source a modeler to begin on the tasks that need to be done, which will be very time consuming"

Yeah, that was another one that took so long to develop they missed 2020 altogether 😂 It does look pretty good though but to be fair, CaptainSim always looked good LOL Ironically, I used their 757 more than I would like to admit despite it's flaws. It looked and sounded great for the time. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

They need a modeller, they still have a functional plane with which they can test in the sim. It’s pretty fair to assume they just need a modeller to bring the aircraft’s modelling to a more modern spec, which is quite time consuming.
