I just hope we get one before MSFS2028.

  • Compared to Majestic Dash 8 in P3D, The ATR in MSFS is horrible/joke. Several systems are either broken or don't work as intended. Developers are not bothered to fix it, every time they release an upd

I would take a majestic systems level q400 even if only at p3d visual model quality.

  • How’d you read that and get that interpretation? It works in 2020 and they’re of the same thinking as a lot of devs when it comes to 2024, new features that they’ll need to delve into.

I don't miss the MJC Q400, use it frequently in P3D.  Why would anyone that already purchased it miss it?  And exactly how would high resolution input option be supported in MSFS?

I don't miss it, but I would love to have a MSFS version of it. When flying in PD3 or FSX, the scenery is no comparison to 2020 or 2024.

Hey! Maybe Carenado or CaptainSim will make a Dash? 😉

Is it true Just Flight had a poll recently including the Dash?

Would FlyJSim ever think about porting something over?

I heard talks about Majestic before 2020 was released and that honestly got me excited for 2020 in the first place. Oh how times have changed

A Justflight series similar to the BAe146 would be so welcome, even if it ultimately took them a few years to make it through the variants. Flight decks on the Q100-300 should be pretty uniform, Q400 is a whole different beast, but I would 1000% be in on that.

They are not supported in p3d either. the MJC Q400 runs on a separate FM engine.

This was a reason I always had issues with it. If your sim stuttered for a bit anything could happen

The reason I don't want to fly it anymore despite purchasing the pro edition is that the scenery and everywhere I would fly in P3d looks terrible now compared to what we are accustomed to in msfs

I don't know.  Back in the p3d days I recall it had performance that was twice as good as any other payware plane.

Obviously it's an individual preference. I have many hours logged on level c/d simulators - both Boeing and Airbus and the "scenery" quality you can expect in those is that of p3d at best. It's hard to compare a turboprop like the q400 to say an A330... but in terms of simulation quality (systems depth + dynamics) the Q400 for me is a clear winner over anything that's been presented for a desktop simulator  - if only for its accurate physics.

It's vapourware they should sell their code off to inibuilds.

I’ve flown a handful of level d sims. I don’t disagree with you. But for my home sim the view outside matters

The Dash-8 100,200 and 300 would be very welcome.  There are still a lot in service; more than many types recently added to MSFS.

The irony is, if there is a developer secretly working on a decent Q400, it's in their interest to stay quiet about it, because they don't want to ring the alarm bell for Majestic. Whoever that developer is, just stay quiet and let Majestic be complacent - they want Majestic to continue the same pace of development they are at now.  Then when that developer's Q400 is ready to release, just make the announcement and drop it on the market, and it will be too late for Majestic to react.

Yes. But I want to know. They'd tell me, right? 🙂
