This simply continuing trend of today's software-releases. Early customers become beta-testers unwillingly.

I think you meant willingly. Its the opposite 😉

I mean, I respect your opinion but what exactly did you expect? You get the A350-1000, -900 and later -900ULR for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. That's a pretty good price for a high end aircraft add on and

Hah yeah, depending on the point of view, both are in some way correct.

Interestingly enough I just got the email about the ini and Swiss collaboration and in that email was this info:  Have people cleared their WASM folder?

Yes of course. I did that after patch installation AND couple of hours later, since the loads were unstable. And they still are.

Here is another perspective from a long time streamer and flight simmer. "7 mins only"

LondonController left MSFS 2024 and the iniBuilds A350 running overnight for over 12 hours. He departed Ho Chi Minh city, left his computer running over night for over 12 hours, and he will be landing in London Heathrow soon:

Seems like there are quite a few people that are able to do 12+ hour flights on MSFS 2024 successfully.

For anyone interested I am currently 13 hours in to a flight from Singapore to London Gatwick and it has not missed a beat. Roughly 1.5 hours to TOD. I am still on MSFS 2020 at the moment for reference.

If not everyone is getting these WASM issues, wouldn't that mean an issue with the user's sim setup not the aircraft?

No, likely related to navdata in a certain area or clicking on a certain button or area of the panel from what I can see.  Probably explains why not everyone has seen it yet because everyone's doing different things.

I generally agree with Filbert. I have parked the A350, likely indefinitely. It is not worth the hassle of trying to get a refund but I am very unlikely to purchase another iniBuilds product. I also agree with him that had it been a 40 pound add-on I would have been less concerned, but I also would have had a better idea of what I was buying;  The mismatch of price to system depth, flight model fidelity, and stability is just too great.

This.

Goes hand in hand with the issue I had while setting the aircraft up. One setup went bonkers and the other one worked (two different setups). Going step by step and repeating everything exactly as I did on the first go, would be I am afraid impossible.

I am really not interested into unreliable addons, which make my flights miserable. I am here to enjoy my hobby and REALLY like my flights to go smoothly (as in, performance and stability). I have so little flights that I can do, from time perspective, and each is very much worth to me.

EDIT:

And now again, started the flight with -900 livery, saw it's wrong, went back to menu, changed the livery, and now the whole sim is hanging/frozen on loading the flight. Doesn't seem like it would go any further...

Just did another flight in 350. As crazy as it sound zooming out before starting the flight solve or my WASM compiling issue for me. I don't know if it 2024 issue or SU1 beta issue.

In any case for the most part it is very nice and smooth flying experience. There is an issue though for me using FMC. I'm using tobee eye tracker and it conflict with mouse pointer you have to use in FMC. So I need to double click every time I select something in on FMC pages. I'd say inconvenient but definitely not the show killer. Overall it seems A350 needs a lot of polishing but other than that it is OK

Yeah, you have to back out of the sim to change aircraft/liveries.  Not sure why that is.

As someone before stated earlier. The moment you decide to sell your products into certain higher price brackets the more pressure exists for you to deliver a a bug free and feature rich product pretty much on launch, and the more scrutiny your gonna have from people who expect to fully use the feature set of your products. If your competitors can do it in the same price bracket your going to be judged on the same standards. I get that bugs happen to every release but the fundamentals and advertised feature sets must be functional without caveats and the bugs should be minor stuff.. not showstoppers.

I'm still looking to see how good their RNAV/RNP implementation was and Filbert's video demonstration of how it handles lateral navigation isn't inspiring confidence.

Day before he left it and it crashed. Same with Chewwy.

Maybe if you sit back, just watch and don't push any buttons or interact at all you will get a good long haul flight?
