The best slogan that I can think of for flight simmers is:

Once you have tasted flight simming, you will be always searching for your holy grail. 😀

Thankfully, I've already found mine.

THE VERY BEST ATC PROGRAM EVER !!

Sure - except for BeyondATC which actually won the "Best Tool" category. 😅

Developer of Self-Loading Cargo - The Cabin Crew and Passenger Simulation Addon for MSFS, X-Plane, P3D and FSX

I'm holding on the decision for a 1 yr subscription.

But it looks really Nice, specially because I would be able to use it with xPlane as well, although default xp12 ATC pleases me enough already.

More votes doesn't mean it's the best though 😉 That's all in the eye of the beholder. To me, for instance, BATC didn't get my vote because it doesn't support VFR (yet), therefor I find it less complete.

Looking forward to everything SI will bring to the table in the near future. Too bad I don't have the opportunity to meet the team at the Flightsim Expo.

Cheers, Bert

From what I have seen of SI on Youtube, seems like I could ask my Amazon Echo, "Alexa what should I do now?" and get a similar answer, for free. 😉

I've tried them all and say intentions is easily the most impressive.

Cost being the biggest negative

Using BATC at the moment and very happy. Lots of continuous updates making it better all the time.

Lots of good choices now for different folks and their needs and wants.

BATC was awarded this years Best Tool as it offers both ATC and AI traffic. I personally voted for SI in that category because SI offers VFR and IFR ATC. I just finished a flight using BATC and like most BATC flights, I'm very happy with the addon until I get to the approach phase of the flight. Yet to have a good experience there. SI does better to much better in this area but there's always a chance of of SI messing up the approach phase.

BATC is working on getting VFR into their addon while SI is working on adding AI traffic. If you want 100% realistic and reliable ATC service, PilotEdge is the only option. My guess, once SI gets AI traffic, that will become the best option for the biggest sandbox to play in. We have great options including FSHud (which I dont use) and I'm excited to see the continuing development of both BATC and SI.

Are lobbyist still influencing law makers to create laws that benefit their industry? Are big companies still buying up small companies to prevent competition? Do you get emails for companies that promote a product? Have you every seen "junk mail" in your mailbox for ads, sales and promotions of things you have no interest in but you got them because you have a Postal Box? Do you get text from scam centers?

Yeah lets all get our pitch forks and prepare to boycott because the use of a company trying to gets its name out is just unheard of. While I dont support the use of bots, thats marketing and it has nothing to do with the product. In a free world based on Capitalism I take it as par for the course.

I don't support companies that spam people, period.

You are way too lenient.

Bot promotion is as bad as bought reviews on Amazon. Customers don't need fake testimonials.

Personally, all I am looking for is a default ATC system as good as the one in P3Dv4. I do not need anything more complicated than that. Of course, the AI planes need to deal with sloped taxiways and runways in MSFS 2020/2024, but I am sure that one or two clever chaps at MS/Asobo/WT could sort that out
