There aren't any regional voices for Asia - or Australia / New Zealand - in FSHud. So... I guess you "win" again 🙂 If someone wants to hit me on the head with a blunt object - now's the time... word not allowed EDIT: If someone - anyone - can agree with me that the BATC voices aren't top notch in the video that I just shared - I'd be happy. For my sanity... I have BATC now, and no the basic voices are just as mediocre as any other program. Premium is better though. This atc bash fesh needs to stop though. I am keeping Pilot2atc for GA flying only and love it for that. So yes, basic batc voices are still just as "meh" as anyone else. Windows now allows pretty decent voices now (in the p2atc) forum and they are about the same with basic BATC voices Edited April 2, 20251 yr by Sonosusto 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

April 2, 20251 yr i do think batc is pretty good. Its traffic controlling is better than attempting to filter out AIG excessive amount of planes. Having some GA traffic is great too. But if we are comparing ATC programs merely by their voices then I will vouch that most are the same to me. Little difference. Pilot2atc has its pros/cons too. BATC is good for regulating some of the traffic for sure 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

Another good one! (I couldn’t actually play the sound on my iPad, but I think I know what you’re getting at). Edited April 2, 20251 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

I spent over 10K with a company and my three computers were down for almost a year. It was so bad that one of the owners came to my house, by the time they figured out the issue a new CPU processor was out. Told my story here and was chewed out by a mod. I left AVSIM until that mod was GONE!!! I don't expect much has changed; Tom would roll over if he had the opportunity to see what goes on here now! Truth be told, I can hardly understand live ATC even if it's perfect English LOL In that regard BATC sounds way too perfect LOL But anyway, since I stopped using accents for the basic voices (which, as we all know, actually aren't accents at all) the BATC voices are absolutely great and do the job perfectly. I noticed btw that even when you use English voices only you do get a slight accent every now and then in certain places... but I do not mind that at all because those accents really seem to be (very slight) accents and not the fake accents the 'foreign' voices have.

I don't think anyone was against the negative posts on BATC. it just got a bit tiresome when 3-4 subsequent threads got opened all to bash BATC. Why not just consolidate it to one thread? Seems like people just wanted a part of the limelight rather than leaving their a opinions to just one thread.
April 3, 20251 yr Sometimes the community is a bit odd in my opinion. BATC just reached the moment where they are asking for a community vote for the next feature to be implemented and had lots of interesting options. And the communities current majority pick before the poll is closed is the one that has the least to do with ATC functions: GSX integration. What the...?! Choosing that over CPDLC?? GSX integration is a nice quality of life feature but not a vital part of simulating realistic ATC operations. Edited April 3, 20251 yr by Farlis
