  • Also, Favorite and use most often can be different things. As Lucky said, Vatsim would be my favorite, but BATC gets used more often.

  • I simply use FS-ATC Chatter and then fly my way. It works for me but obviously won't for everyone. I like the background radio chatter for the immersion, and FS-ATC Chatter is constantly updating with

  • BATC made a very wise commercial decision - they add traffic injector which uses third party planes.

I do not use any ATC at the moment. Static aircraft, clear skies, and silent radios

This is a bit difficult for me. Honestly it's circumstantial. I think at the very top of the list is Vatsim however this is only if I have full coverage. There's nothing that comes close to the stress involved during a Vatsim event where you need to listen quickly and react accordingly all the while everyone around you is a real individual and the controllers are doing their best job to get you in and out of an area. Nothing comes close to me at least. Never used PE, I can't comment but im sure it's just as good if not better but I'd guess not nearly as popular.

However, when I don't have full coverage (I'm currently doing Argentinian ops but in UK timezone) then It's BATC for me. It's not perfect, it's buggy but it still can sell the immersion factor to me. Flying in SABE, being told to exit next left and seeing a 737 taking off following by another all the while LATAM is pushing back to get out as-well. Is it accurate? Probably not. Is it better than flying into an empty airport and having to navigate myself? 100% yes.

So I'd vote if there's full coverage online, then VATSIM is a no brainer, otherwise I'm good with BATC for now.

Vatsim is my preference, but BATC probably just as often now.

Since this is the MSFS forum, there are two things that may need to be fixed in the vote options:

1) unfortunately, RC4 does not work with MSFS.

2) PF3 (the ATC I used before going to FSHud) does work with 2020. I'm not sure about 2024. I can't see it among the options. There are also other ATC programs available that also ran in 2020.

As an aside, I feel like I should fire up 2020 and try FSHUD again. I don't have the upgraded license for 2024 yet.

You forgot PF3. It was my go-to for over a decade until the BRILLIANT BATC finally replaced it.

Pilot2ATC. Why? It just works each time. Now I found a way for better voices as well that are free. Like 30 of them.

It works everywhere, VFR or IFR, integrates with with simbrief, replaces littlenavmap. detects AI traffic, UI looks better, doesn't vector me into mountains. I already paid for it so no subscription. Again, voices are a non-issue at this point for me.

Have an issue? The developer will help you nearly instantly.

FSHUD and BATC look and sound impressive but since I already have an ATC program that works without any issues, I don't see myself changing. ATC talking to AI near me would be a bonus point.

Neither VATSIM or IVAO should be on this list. They are not programs. They are online networks you connect to with a client.

I agree, used PF3 for many years, but it is no longer supported, so I didn't include it.

Well then, make your own poll.

I really like that the FSHUD interface can be on a client machine, does BATC support that?
