Yes it was me. And I know how easily and unreasonable it may be. So it's not the surprise for me. But why you behave like a bunch of little children? "Great nukers"

Use your energy to solve problems and bugs instead.

What part of "banning bots as quickly as possible so they don't steal the money of our customers" did you not understand?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

  • I like it very much using it with the original voices. It'll continue to improve as it's still an EA product. Be patient

  • And we do need a dedicated thread for this why exactly? There are so many about BATC, why couldn't this little review go in there?

  • No matter which aircraft I am flying ,I just figure out where I need to start descending to reach proper altitude for approach and just ask BATC for descent permission.

Hello, i get Troubles with BATC now:
When BATC is running and connected with the sim, then other Programs like littlenavmap and also FS2Crew can not connect with the Sim2024.
When i close BATC or not have connected, the all Apps work like it should be. Any other here with som troubles?

I'm using 7 or 8 other tools that connect via SimConnect at the same time with BATC, so no, works fine for me. Does that also happen when you start BATC in admin mode? Other than that I suggest going on the Discord, you'll find help much quicker than here: https://discord.gg/AbjCzkSM

thanks, i have given an report in Discord....

I rarely fly without BATC now. It's not perfect and sometimes the vectoring and/or descent clearances can get you in a bit of a mess but in my experience it generally does a good job. I've definitely noticed it improve significantly in the time I've been using it, especially since the LLM came in. I've also reduced the texture sizes of the FSLTL models it uses, which has made a big improvement to performance at larger airports.

For me it fills the void from flying around in an empty sky and landing at an empty airport, with no interaction, and is a perfect alternative to VATSIM - which itself is awesome - when I don't have the time or just can't be bothered to do a fully online flight with real people.

This is my experience as well.

If I'm flying into/out of big airports I increase parked density and reduce departures and arrivals to gain a few fps while keeping the airport looking 'full'.

Yes, but I would love for them to finish the IFR suite first. One major missing part is correct oceanic operations, with CPDLC and HF Radio and Selcal checks.

But judging from the lay users input, GSX integration is more important than CPDLC implementation....

I can normally work around the descent clearances although it can get sketchy occasionally probably score them 4/10 on that aspect, vectoring though - still absolutely hopeless, if I am being kind 1/10.

I love BATC, but I believe if they hadn't listened to all the people screaming about controlling AI, and had just focused on good ATC, they would be allot further along than they are now. I just flew the ILS in KMIA rwy 12,  I was on the localizer about 7 miles from touchdown on a heading of 128, and they were giving me vectors like "turn to a hdg of 320" then a few seconds later, "turn to a heading of 080"   etc. etc.   I have learned that 95% of the time, I just ignore any and all vectors and just fly the approach I am on.

To be honest you need both, else it's just comical.

Not controlled AI means an A330 pulling out onto the active runway while I am on short final.  How is that for immersion?

Air traffic control without control is not Air traffic control.  It's just a guy giving you a routing from a predefined A to B, which you may as well turn off.

I have had that happen maybe a half dozen times in over 3 years of flying and thousands of hours. Like getting hit by lightning.
