You don't see their posts, questions, replies or anything. If enough people do this, the person who is ignored will basically have nobody that will reply to their posts because nobody will care.

If I may ask, what monitor resolution are you running here?

Just curious, because I just got an LG OLED monitor that runs on 3840x2160, but I have 5 year old computer that uses an Nvidia 1080Ti Graphics card. So, that resolution is a little choppy. 

(I just ordered a new Jetline Systems computer which will be state of the art with a 5080 card, but while waiting for it, I was curious about monitor resolutions being used.)

I continue to enjoy FS2020 immensely.  I wasn't able to install FS2024 (I have purchased it) as it was released while I'm in a major reconfiguration of my system for my business.  It is paramount that all of this work be finished and my system in good order before I can migrate/test out FS2024.

I have followed with interest the release of FS2024 (the good and the bad) and appreciate all of the info that will help me with it in the future.  I will certainly not remove FS2020 until FS2024 is running well and all of my favorite aircraft are working with it.

Yes true....Yes, but if enough people "ignore" them then the regular people on here won't even see it. The casual forum users probably won't reply anyway.

That's good advice, but at least for me the ignore does not do those things (evey though I check every box).  I still see the thread, just not the post in the thread (which is no less annoying).  I also see replies to people on ignore (in spite of checking that box to ignore that specifically).  

I'm ignoring so many people now, but the theads still take up all the space on the front page.

Hover over the name of the user you can't stand. Just hover the mouse over their name/profile......and pop up window will appear.

Then let it set you free.

I have never ignored anyone on a forum. I do not see the point when I have the capability to do it without help.

Actually this is a good question. I wouldn't mind filtering 2024 related posts. If it's so much better and working so well now, why does it need to be tangled with 2020 content? Honest question. I imagine the 2024 guys who left 2020 behind don't want to see 2020 content anymore.

Can't do it, the mods decided to keep the two as one forum and you can't just filter out 2024 content especially if people don't post with tags.  So just ignore it if you aren't interested...

It's ironic we still have separate FS9, FSX, FS12 forums, a DX10 forum, a Win 7 and Win 8 forum but can't separate 2020 and 2024...

I mean is there a lot of interest in Win7 and Win 8 still? 😉  Seems some forums could easily be "sacrificed" at this point

I'm sure they need a Extraordinary General Meeting to add a separate MSFS2024 forum to the Avsim Constitution. Or something.

How about there is still a separate forum for MS Flight? It ended about 13 years ago. 

Another thread started beating the same old dead horse!

This forum is littered with this same theme over and over.

Not a week goes by without someone having to complain!

For MANY MSFS2024 works as well or better than 2020!

Microsoft is in the gaming software business to make gobs of money. If you don't like what they produce there is at least one other option.

If you think you are fighting back, they could care less!
