what happens if i dont want to use gsx through the efb i want to use the normal way ?  how can I do it.

That's up to FS Labs to give you an option to do that. GSX can be set under Remote Control by developers, usually because they have specifically designed workflows, that might be disrupted if you use the menu to do something else, that's the whole point of it.

But it can be disabled in the same way as it can be disabled.

  • I love the people who post for no other reason but to tell everyone they aren't getting it...  Do you also stop at every car dealership and pop your head in just to let everyone know you aren't buying

  • I don't have a problem purchasing from them. Get over it already.

  • Flying this FSL NEO yesterday down to KRSW and I get an ECAM for smoke in lavatory with the master warning going off. I’m like WTH? CAB lights up and I answer and Norman tells me they caught some guy

ii find the engine sounds from the flight deck are quiet

I think that's accurate. It's an A321, so the engines are farther from the cockpit compared to the other variants. I would say the volume level is very similar to the Fenix A321, which is another indication that we're on to something realistic here.

Did a quick test flight this morning. Loaded panel state that I had saved took off turned out AP1/2 were inop nothing in MEL or failures. Reloaded to a cold and dark state and worked no problem need to test again to see if panel states is causing a problem.

Is getting the digital radio panel an option, or some config special to a variant? It will be great for vatsim.

Ah, ok. When XP streamed he had the older panel with the dials.

Oh not seen. I've not seen an option either.

Just a note here that all the profiles for the Neo are now on Simbrief.

FSL have sent to Simbrief profiles for the house liveries, one for each engine variant, and ACT config. They have yet to appear.

(Each livery has custom weights, so you should create a Simbrief airframe for each livery with the weights taken from the MCDU or from the flightsim.cfg file in the livery texture folder).

They have also provided a profile for each airframe here for those of us who are lazy:

I wonder why there's no wing flex

- textures are OK, but quite a step below the competition, especially external.
- the install tool is pretty buggy. Had to try several times to get it to work and eventually found that I didn’t have enough disk space. No error from the tool though.
- the MCDUs go back to the overview page whenever the FS menu was opened.
- GSX integration is very comprehensive, but also quite unintuitive. Wish I could turn on the standard menu like in the Inibuilds A350.

Major issue for me is the VRAM consumption. My 4080 (16 gig) can’t handle this on 1440p with high settings and AutoFPS.

FS2024 SU2, RTX4080, 1440p, settings high, AutoFPS, DLSS (quality, latest version with swapper tool). No issues with Fenix, PMDG 777, Ini A300/350.

Honestly, what do you mean?

It's an Airbus, but it feels different than what I got used to from the other developer. I won't go into texturing and modeling.  Flipping switches for example feels different, responsiveness is different, handling feels different, taxing is definitely different, I know Airbus from inside out, I work as an Airbus A320 simulator instructor, but with this one I have a feeling I have a learning curve to follow.

Has anyone who had performance issues in the Fenix in 2024 tried the FSL in 24? Curious if it is easier on the frames for those of use with low VRAM.
