It does apply to VAT, because it says "taxes" in general and nowhere it says VAT is not considered as a tax or is an exception, the price IS calculated as early as possible, and the sentence "the fact that such additional charges may be payable" clearly means that, as long you alert customers there will be extra charges in advance (FsLabs not only does that, it requires you to CLICK a checkmark to accept it, and after you do that, the button saying the price will be added of VAT becomes very bright green) so no, they are perfectly compliant with the EU directive. June 19, 2025Jun 19 I love the people who post for no other reason but to tell everyone they aren't getting it... Do you also stop at every car dealership and pop your head in just to let everyone know you aren't buying anything?? LOL Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

And no it wasn't me, I couldn't afford the oil change let alone the car LOL... I also frequently stop at restaurants to tell the customers I wont be eating there... You can usually see the relief on everyone's face as I leave LOL What's really fun though is pulling up next to people at a traffic light and getting them to roll down their window so I can tell them I wouldn't buy the car they drive 🙂 Edited June 19, 2025Jun 19 by psolk Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

Which of course, in the context of the whole sentence, means the price "inclusive" of taxes (and the other stuff too), should be communicated before the contract is completed, and if is going to be calculated later, the website should alert consumers in advance that the advertised price is not final. So, again, both requirements are met under EU regulation: the FsLabs websites clearly alerts that taxes will be calculated later, and the final price IS displayed as soon the Fastspring page comes up, before you even started entering any personal details, so as early as reasonably expected. June 20, 2025Jun 20 Compared to CEO, does it use CPU and GPU more efficiently? 🙂 Otherwise I really don’t understand all the fuss which company releases a NEO first and why is that a big news.
