  • I love the people who post for no other reason but to tell everyone they aren't getting it...  Do you also stop at every car dealership and pop your head in just to let everyone know you aren't buying

  • I don't have a problem purchasing from them. Get over it already.

  • Flying this FSL NEO yesterday down to KRSW and I get an ECAM for smoke in lavatory with the master warning going off. I’m like WTH? CAB lights up and I answer and Norman tells me they caught some guy

How anyone could give this company money after what they did blows my mind. I’ll gladly wait for Fenix. A company that has an amazing product and a moral compass.

When you hold a grudge, you hold a grudge.

That was years ago, they fell on their sword over it.

Your choice, but build a bridge and get over it.

In AUD about $22. You would have to convert that into your currency.

If I only purchased things from companies that matched my own moral compass I’d be living in a mud hut and growing my own food.

Adding that at the checkout which is kind of the U.S. way of doing that, is not legal in the EU.

Not really, let's see what the actual EU law says:

Article 6

Information requirements for distance and off-premises contracts

1.   Before the consumer is bound by a distance or off-premises contract, or any corresponding offer, the trader shall provide the consumer with the following information in a clear and comprehensible manner:

e) the total price of the goods or services inclusive of taxes, or where the nature of the goods or services is such that the price cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the manner in which the price is to be calculated, as well as, where applicable, all additional freight, delivery or postal charges and any other costs or, where those charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the fact that such additional charges may be payable. In the case of a contract of indeterminate duration or a contract containing a subscription, the total price shall include the total costs per billing period. Where such contracts are charged at a fixed rate, the total price shall also mean the total monthly costs. Where the total costs cannot be reasonably calculated in advance, the manner in which the price is to be calculated shall be provided;

I highlighted the key sentence here: "before the consumer is bound by a contract", that is before you complete the purchase. and the 2nd highlight "where those charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the fact that such additional charges may be payable", means it's OK to just say the price will be added of taxes on checkout when just advertising a product, as long the final price is displayed before the purchase is complete, once you can be reasonably sure how to calculate the tax rate properly.

And the way Fastpring does it, is automatically by IP, even before you start filling your data.

How about the VRAM usage? Fenix is a little high for me in '24 after SU2 but PMDG B777F is ok, plenty of overhead left.

Ta.

Can someone please comment how are the cockpit textures and sounds in the NEO? I heard that Fenix is much better than FsLabs

That does not apply to VAT. That is not a reasonable exception. It CAN be calculated in advance.

I'll wait for Fenix and the ilfy 737 Max is great. I have Airbus fatigue too.
