FSLabs A321Neo Released

Featured Replies

Yes of course, i forgot that

You should look the last vidéo from a330 driver on yt, posted today and check how he use the plane. There are some difference with a320 fenix.

  • I love the people who post for no other reason but to tell everyone they aren't getting it...  Do you also stop at every car dealership and pop your head in just to let everyone know you aren't buying

  • I don't have a problem purchasing from them. Get over it already.

  • Flying this FSL NEO yesterday down to KRSW and I get an ECAM for smoke in lavatory with the master warning going off. I’m like WTH? CAB lights up and I answer and Norman tells me they caught some guy

Reading the tutorial (and manuals) probably won't hurt...

Anyone able to do a dry crank with the FSL neo?

A 10 Euro discount for CEO customers is laughable. They surely reused a lot of the code, textures, and 3D objects to develop the NEO.

For someone who spent $ on all of their products in P3D you get nothing... Obviously FSL had 3 year delay launching in MSFS and obviously many couldn't  wait. I waited almost 2 years.... Now they are giving champ change discount only to MSFS ceo owners? Doesn't make any sense really. P3D loyalty and money earned from P3D customers doesn't count I guess. True...one of the best product but there is no reason to pay full price when my loyalty doesn't count....

It's easy to follow the flow as follows:

  • MCDU choose ATSU then AOC menu start init left top then choose init data req* when the message "initialization recd" appears
  • go back via the AOC menu option choose OFP DATA
  • Make sure that the refuel option is via GSX (if using GSX) then press OFP data send (could also choose to print (later on that)
  • Then atc req incase of VATSIM or SAI then you could choose via the boarding option second page the time to start the boarding here you can even attach the pushback truck....
  • Via the option departure you can file the expected pushback route and or de-icing (and remote deicing pad) route..

Then go to the init page where the simbrief plan already is loaded GSX (will start the automatic flows in the background as in real life)

Add here as you normally would do the MCDU flow of the flightplan...

The EFB shows at the mass & balance page the flex cabin layout from the companies as in real life it differs per airline.

It will fill the seats when GSX is starting boarding

Via the Navigraph icon/page you can import the flightplan which is already selected at the pin tab for the relevant charts for the flight.

Techlog you will have the MEL items and at the flight history tab you can see all your previous flights and landing performance data

Connections tab shows what is active and connected service tab opens the GSX menu (which isn't needed because all the flows happens in the background)

As for printer you can select for example pushover and sent all the reports to your Iphone or tablet.

In a nutshell it takes me 30 seconds to go via ATSU>INIT> OFP and start the MCDU init flow... (and the data is then also accessible via the EFB)

So much more to discover in this wonderful bird as for performance and Simbrief all the liveries have a Simbrief profiles according to there RW counterpart can be downloaded at the FSL forum via links to Simbrief.

Made also profiles for Winwing FCU/EFIS L/R and MCDU also at the forum

Have fun

Does anyone know if the Skalarki MCDU and Autopilot panels work with this aircraft?

Can't blame beta testers. Sometimes things are raised, but devs decide to go their own way.

yup, but youd think they listen to them.  had a group of 4 of my mates this weekend flew it,  all 4 of us said the gsx intergration is very fiddly and clumsy (2 are rw drivers).  The aircraft flies amazingly, and the level if system detail is beyond fantasic,  but the fenix is a just a lot more "simple to use"

like briscoe said (and i agree)  importing a flightplan is a faff compared to the fenix.

just connecting the ground power at the start of the day through that gsx intergration is a faff compared to fenix

loading the punters and bags is a faff compared to the fenix   you can do "send to fmgs" with the weights and fuel like fenix, same with the takeoff data -  fenix you can "send to fmgs"    easy, simple.  its a sim and dare i say it a game.  why make things so annoying tricky

again I think the fsl flies amazing and alot better than the fenix, but I just find everything like twice as long to set up and do as the fenix.

again a perfect example of making this over complicated to the average simmer.

This is why fenix have done so well with people who just want to fly the thing.  The average 14 year old simmer on vatsim doesnt even though what a techlog or a MEL is or the ramifactions of a fuel penalty or restriction for example. hence why Fenix have done so well and sold  a ton of copies.

with the fenix you can move the sliders to the correct zfw etc and one click  choose how you want to load,  via gsx or straight away, then send to fmgs.  takes 5 seconds.  in a nice big box with an easy to use efb

if you are a super serious simmer brillant, but for the average Joe, they made it too much.  in my opinion

Funny how some people expect discounts on the fact that they were loyal customers before.

Do you have a habit of going to your local grocery store and expecting discounts just because you go there all the time?

Most grocery store here have membership loyalty reward though...

Was thinking of purchasing this, but a few things, though:

  • It's been reported, that there's no wing-flex? Is that true?
  • Was wondering how far away their A20N were? Lefteris has an "MSFS A20N Customers" banner on his profile at their forums, so I originally thought it was released... 🙂
  • What system differences are between the NEO and the CEO ?

Thanks a lot, for any answers and replies.

Cheers!

Yes.

And there are no system differences.

Have you not flown the default Inibuilds A321LR?

Thanks a lot. I think I'll just stay with the Fenix 🙂

Does anyone know why the plane sort of "jumps" both inside the VC and outside when switching views outside/VC?

Best regards
