A note on Lancaster 2024 compatibility.
As usual we have much confusion over the topic of compatibility.
So let's clear this up.
The Lancaster has been built NATIVE to MSFS2020.
It has been tested and flown in 2024 and for the purposes of enjoying the product in that sim WITHOUT 2024 extras, we would say it is COMPATIBLE. It flies fine and everything works OK.
However, what we say on the website still stands. DO NOT BUY THE LANCASTER AS A 2024 PRODUCT. IT IS NOT AND WE DO NOT SAY IT IS ANYWHERE ON THE SITE.
We may well look at a 2024 NATIVE VERSION, down the track.

Some mixed messages there.  “It works in 2024 but don’t buy it for 2024”.  I’m guessing that’s more covering themselves than anything.

Awesome.  That's enough for me.  I'll be getting it for 2024.  can't wait.

I really hope they improve and succeed. But after the Electra and 707 debacles I just want them to release something that's compatible with being released. Nevermind any specific platform distinctions.

The message is not mixed, it is crystal clear.

1. The aircraft was developed using the MSFS 2020 SDK
2. It works in MSFS 2024 in exactly the same way as it does in MSFS 2020
3. Because it was developed using the MSFS 2020 SDK, it does not have any
of the features enabled by using the MSFS 2024 SDK

The Lancaster on the Orbx site is currently retailing at around £32, while at JustFlight it's £23, so it's a Justflight purchase for me.

Yes I noticed - big difference!  My Orbx days are over anyway.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Hmmm…for me it shows exact same $35 USD price on both sites.
