What you did is to change the Navigation source to VOR 2. Then it shows the distance to the Nav Source.

What I want is to know how far I am away from VOR 2 while using a different NAV Source - for example FMS or VOR 1 / ILS on approach. Especially on approach it is important to know the distance to the runway.

Is that really not implemented?

Thanks for the heads up.  This Learjet looks much better than the other one out there. 

That being said the FlightFX Citation X is hands down the best private jet released for Flight Simulator to this date.  I hope they do the Citation X+ as well (.93 cruise 🤪).   It's hard to go back to anything else concerning this niche after traveling with a regular ground speed of 520kts in the 40,000ft range. 💯

yeah, that's what I resorted to aswell. I Modded the included radiostacks/AP panel from FS panels, but only kept the bitmaps basically

Still WIP, but it's getting there

Prototype has a DME hold feature that is set up using the RMU. Example use would be an ILS approach that uses DME from a VOR. Enter the VOR freq in the RMU, press 'DME', the nav window will split and the freq you entered will be in the bottom as the DME freq. Then enter the ILS freq as you normally would. Press DME to exit this mode. 

No clue if this is modeled in the sim but that's how I do it.

Could somebody please explain how to "step" through your route on the ND?  I can get the ND into "plan" mode but I'm not sure how to step through the fixes/waypoints.

If you use Navigraph it takes the Navigraph info that's installed in the sim.

Just saw another cool video of the real thing taking off from Monterey.

Man that thing takes off like a bat out of hell.

Within a blink of an eye, I'm descending into Vegas as If I teleported there.

Currently the FlightFX Citation X will display NAV1 ILS dme on both PFD displays or NAV2 VOR dme on both PFD displays.

Note:
Example from Xplane12:
Xplane12's default Citation X will display e.g. NAV1 ILS/dme on PFD1 and NAV2 VOR/dme on PFD2.

Required for approaches like ESGG ILS or LOC RW 03 (no dme) where VOR LAV 114.60 provides the DME (screenshots).

ESGG ILS or LOC RW 03 is the title of the approach plate.

Had to read it again. You are correct.
ESGG ILS or LOC RW 03 (no dme).

I was saying the airport has no ILS DME.

For this example I should have said :
ESGG ILS or LOC RW 03 LOC (GS out) where VOR LAV 114.60 provides the DME (screenshots). 

Note:

This approach needs VOR (LAV) DME for the missed approach.
