  • It ain't the Hot Start Challenger but this thing has vnav, a (rare) but optional Auto throttle, charts, EFB, superb sounds plus fairly deep systems/avioncs.  And it looks about 20 leagues better than

  • Which ones are not working?  Anyway, just climbed out of KPDX and headed to KSAN in 2024.  Everything worked very well, no issues, navigraph worked, flight plan was easy, getting up to cruis

  • Just finished my first flight, and it was definitely worth the wait! This aircraft is awesome! The sounds, visuals, and the classic avionics all make for a great simulation. All for a totally unbeatab

For all the VR visuals folks...

why, did you try it in VR?

when another user, haskell said:

" I saw some complaints on their Discord (a dumpster fire yesterday) that the click spots didn’t work in VR ."

"ShakePrintOP18:02

Bought the plane yesterday - loving it! Unfortunately I could not get it to stop crashing. I’m running a quest 3. Loaded up and crashed the sim 4 times in a row. I then did a half flight and tried to load into VR, crashed shortly after. Then I did a full flight, at destination loaded into VR, crash. VR working no problem on other planes."

Edit: just got it myself. and tried it in VR for 10 minutes. works flawlessly in VR with Pimax Crystal Light, MSFS 20204, beta SU3
(other users VR problems probably individual mis-configuration issues.)

cockpit graphics are excellent. I know because I fly VR exclusively,  you can get much closer to anything and you would see any discrepancies immediately, more than in 2D.

The one in XP is free, so this one BETTER blow it away for $30. 😉

the Default MSFS Longitude is DEEPLY simulated (like down to hydraulic fluid temps, etc).  THAT one is hands down the easiest to operate due to the Garmin suite & ultra automated cockpit. Flies very nicely, too.

for free, it can’t be beat!

main advantage to the X is its hot rod reputation with about 100kts faster and 5000’ higher than the Longitude.

Pity they only sell through market place.

Because…?

never had an issue there myself, and have scored some insanely good deals unavailable elsewhere.

Trying to purchase it now on steam edition, just getting a spinning circle...

Ryan. two-five-delta-zulu is clearly my favorite of all available so far, with eleven-victor-juliet a close second.  Had you been working on them?

Okay, my OCD is a bit elevated, and this is certainly a First World Problem:

yesterday I noticed there’s no wing flex.

and it bugs me.

Mainly because I read once (a looooong time ago) that the B-52’s wings flex something like 20 feet at the tips! And ever since, I marvel whenever I see it on any aircraft.

I know MSFS supports it, and that SBS is even part of the flight model.

im not saying I need to see real time “flapping”, and this bird doesnt flex like a Dreamliner.

and I’ve certainly seen the effect comically OVER-done in addons. Heck, I’d be happy if it was just a binary WoW = droop, gear up = flex

but, dang, it’s just a let down (for me) despite all the other great stuff they put in this addon.

no one has condemned the developers to death sentence yet

That would take a unanimous decision by a group of 12.

certainly. I wouldn't see it anyways in my VR cockpit.

Wing flex doesn't bug me at all... it's pretty subtle irl unless you're getting into more than moderate turbulence

As understand it can be tough to implement well especially in a small aircraft like this.  And if it is implemented the animations I've seen on other addons don't even look that nice.

Need to make sure you have all the Steam Overlays enable in the Steam app. Had same issue until I did. Google it.

my only first world problem with this plane: no retractable wings, unlike the Citation X in XP: 😄

Does the 750 have an altitude arc/"banana" in the MFD Map display that shows where you will reach your selected altitude?  I looked thru all of the settings but I didn't see it anywhere.

To be clear, it doesn’t ruin the addon for me, and so far, the reviews make it seem like a great value, so it’s still on my list👍

otoh, it’s not really a small aircraft…it’s hard to judge the scale, but I’d put it at a foot or two. I mainly noticed the downward arc of the outboard section. Wasn’t even looking for it…

Anyhow, its just one of those things I can’t un-see. 🤙

I'm getting mixed information.  Can this airplane fly non-stop New York-London?
