Some great feedback — 6 pages in and no one has condemned the developers to death sentence yet … looks like I’ll have to buy this and Raul’s Phenom 300 when released.

Starting from C & D the main flight instruments PFD & MFD do not become active ie "PD Fail" and "HDG FAIL".

There tutor flight video covered that.

And only $30.00 for (2) sims.

Yeah, and I appreciate not being charged more.

Looks like she will be good to go on FSEconomy.  Just gotta get your alias of choice added to the FSE system via the "Request Aircraft" function of your FSE client software

I think it's time I give FS economy a try for once.

This is going to sound like I am an A**S, but I've bought so many and so many I don't use.

Plus , I know so little about business Jets.

How would it compare to the SWS PC12 or TBM 850

Just trying to get a handle on it.

Should be happy about the price, but its also a little scary. Wondering what is missing.

It sure looks pretty!

Which planes you bought that you don't use anymore?

In comparison to the well-designed turbo props from SimWorks or BS, those planes are amazing by themselves. Relevant to their own category. Loved the SWS for a time, got buggy for me and I ended up with the BS TBM which worked right out of the box er uh hangar. Since then, I haven't flown the SWS 12 for a while out of sheer annoyance. It's better now but the TBM took its place. Still, I have flown the 12 and thought it was great.

FlightFX releases this biz jet and it worked immediately, no bugs I've encountered, flies and performs well. Looks great. Can't find another business jet in these sims right now unless you fly the modded WT versions that are now default. This jet is fun. I don't care about delays etc. I care about a plane getting released and working right away.

As opposed to A2A aerostar I knew that it was early release but so far that is also amazing.

Anyone using it in VR in 2020? I saw some complaints on their Discord (a dumpster fire yesterday) that the click spots didn’t work in VR. That would be a deal breaker for me as I love flying in VR.

I've bought so many, I just cant fly them all (I need an intervention)

Really trying to understand the quality of the aircraft.

Everybody keeps saying its great for the price. Well, what does that mean for the price.

Is it quality close or better then say, a flysimware Learjet or the PC12 or Duke or Fenix is it Asboro quality.

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

For me, it would still be great at twice the price. If that helps.

Would love to get some input on how this baby is in VR.  I'm itching to buy it.

Thanks. Just watched it and I now know I need more patience for the instruments to get aligned.

Guys is it possible to import a flight plan from Little Nav Map or a downloaded / exported flight plan from the free version of SimBrief ?

I'd put it up with the Lear, which is fantastic, however it's very different as it's far more modern.

In your case (since you don't seem to be into business jets) it may be worth taking the CJ4 out for a few flights and working out if you want to spend your money on something bigger, faster and better.

Only suggesting that, as I know from experience that if I go out and buy a single engine prop I would probably get better value just burning the cash.

Ah, now I understand. You first mentioned the SWS 12 and BS TBM. I love the FSW Lear, Dukes. Obviously wont have the cool engine diagrams of the BS tablet or the older systems of the Lear. Nothing like the Fenix even though modern-ish airbus is somewhat easier to figure out in comparison to relative boeing planes like PMDG. Not quite as in depth as some of the ones mentioned above but still plenty to do. I typically don't care about failures. The innards of the cockpit is a site to see when flying at night. The panels have quite a bit of playtime for me with all the options, vertical performance, various types of displays. Screaming up to 50,000 with a range of 3700 is pretty impressive. Might even take this over the Atlantic. Somehow. Might bring "auxillary" tanks hidden somewhere. 🙂

I would download the manual and checklists, read through them. It seems as though you're interesting but trying to find ways to talk yourself out of it.

Give in. We're not the Borg, here. 🙂

Yes.  Go to the NAV page on the FMS and you'll see a SIMBRIEF option.  Select it then 'reload flight plan'.  You set your SimBrief ID in the EFB.
