Fixed fps drop due to tessellation on DEM skirts

🤔 hmm that's interesting, wonder if it'll improve FPS that much or be a negligible type of fix, will check this week.

Disappointed there's still no VR Mouse/Controller fix, 5 weeks on from this regression bugs introduction and it's a pretty big issue to go unfixed for so long 😐

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

new community2024 folder still a mess ! unable to install or setup addons correctly (FSLTL, SLC, GSX cannot work) - disappointing !

What's the issue? It works as normal for me and GSX, FSLtL, FSHUD et al are all working.. Never stopped working. What are you seeing?

The question is... what are the DEM skirts?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Maybe DEM is digital elevation mesh? Could be wrong, it woudn't be the first time.

i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

Pretty sure that's what it is, "skirts" could be the edges of the DEM perhaps but why that'd cause an FPS loss in the first place is a bit of mystery. One of those fixes that requires an explanation to better understand what they're on about.

Is the beta generally working with third party airliners?  That’s kept me out of it so far.

Yup, no problem at all with Fenix and PMDG 777.

Currently enroute KSEA-KSFO on the latest build. Ground textures seem fixed. Jetways loaded in correctly and no floating/sinking objects in KSEA. GSX initially showed "bad jetway data" error but a restart of Couatl fixed that and jetty was moving as it should. Performance good so far. Hopefully all remains well when landing in KSFO...

Yes, Fenix, A350 and 777 working great. Many GA payware also working great.

Oh well, just had a CTD. Didn't have one of those in ages...

Sure this was not „on purpose“ as I just realized today first time ever that taxi and rwy lights can only be seen from an angle and eg not from the side. But of course when lined up for landing you definitivly should see those lights
