MSFS 2024 SU4 Beta 1.6.15.0

Even without controllers, the mouse is not working 100%. It is working mostly but sometimes I cannot flick switches because they don't react when clicking the mouse. I have to look away and then back at the switch to make it work. Was never a problem before SU4 beta.

In all builds of SU4 I've personally noticed this the most with the very-left fuel pump button in the Fenix jets as an example.

Same here. And recently I also have a hard time turning landing lights on and off in the Fenix.

Yes. All Add-On Developers who have an EFB method of updating method of the AIRAC, discourage the use of the Hub.

So that also goes for the IniBuilds A350 and the Aerosoft CRJ.

Sure, I know, but it's never caused any issues for me. I'm glad it's an option for when the EFB doesn't work.

Unfortunately, the latest beta is not working well on my system. I have much lower fps than in previous builds and I get frequent stutters with sound drop-outs indicating a near-CTD. Really disappointed with the latest release. I'm so happy that I have done numerous flights with the first SU4 betas which were heaven in terms of performance.

On my system, the main thread is very inconsistent again which leads to stutters. One step forward and two steps back again...

I tried using the hub to install nav data, but I get message saying the latest version of the 777 is installed and will not install.

Sebs work in optimising for the issue relating to low FPS on the ground hasn't worked (in VR at least), but 50ft into the air and it was a rock solid 46fps which is more than enough (for me). Think he needs to work a lot more in this area as it clearly needs more optimising.
Sort this (panning low FPS still exists as well) and the mouse bugs and it'll be goooooood!

Is anyone experiencing any kind of weird 'press 1 button on a controller and multiple buttons are registered' issues with SU4?  I installed SU4 this past Saturday and had this weird issue with a homemade button-box/tiller controller I have.  I had several other annoying issues with things in SU4 1613, so I went back to SU3 and all was well; the 'multiple buttons registered' went away and I didn't think more of it.  I installed SU4 1615 yesterday, and noticed this problem seems to have returned.  When I open the 'USB Game Controllers' windows application, the buttons all light up as they should so it's not a 'short', but in MSFS 2024 SU4 1615, when I press button 2 for example, it registers both button 2 and button 3.  Just curious if anyone had anything similar happen!

hm my sim is crashing now a couple minutes after hitting '68% - Loading World Data' on the start up. It might be a mod causing it, because it loads fine with an empty community folder.

However, I haven't added any new mods since the 12th, and the previous build worked fine.

There were also new Nvidia graphics drivers this morning, but I can't see that being the cause since as I said it loads fine with no addons, unless an addon is somehow conflicting with the drivers?

Edit: I reverted to SU3 and that works fine.

68%

Had a pretty long load after 68% as well…like 15 mins. Are you using any visual mods? Try clearing the scenery indexes and shader cache again, just to be sure. You may also want to try having the sim rebuild your user.opt.

aaaand I accidentally wiped my entire community folder

I rebuilt my usercfg.opt file and set the path in sim instead of editing the config file, and the sim I guess took that as 'wipe the folder'??

It is a beta, remember? We should expect these things and not be bothered.

The latest version of the 777 or the latest version of the AIRAC?

Can you post a screenshot? I didn’t know that the Hub could put that message. For me it only shows “Install”, “Update” or “Remove”.

I always update via the Navigraph Hub, but then I do not use the EFB at all in my PMDG 737 and 777.

And how exactly do you do your performance calculations then? Or load the aircraft?

Same. Flickering gone (latest Nvidia drivers now), and the ground bleed through issue is gone as well. Seems to be a pretty good beta build so far, no obvious regressions in the ~ hour that I'm playing with it.

Same with my RTX 4060 laptop-all good so far.
