November 9, 2025Nov 9 Why don’t they release it for MSFS2004? Edited November 9, 2025Nov 9 by rob0203
November 9, 2025Nov 9 I legitimately don’t care about this or the A220 anymore. Just say 2027 and beyond at this point
November 9, 2025Nov 9 As I said a few years ago, I am not underestimating what it takes to develop these models, but I wish a lot of these developers would release a 'light' model first with a 'professional' model following afterwards. I love the 757 (and 767), and just wish we had something to fill the gap. By the time we get this, it will probably be a systems heavy product that I don't particularly want in either price and complexity, and it will probably need updating for MSFS2028 shortly afterwards. Releasing a 'light' version would also allow them to raise some revenue as well. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

But if you pay now for the 2020 version sometime next year they will also throw in a 2024 version "sometime" after that... Which to be honest, are they really going to charge people for both? No different to what other developers are doing. I say that some developers are charging upgrade pricing for the new sim.... Edited November 9, 2025Nov 9 by carlanthony24

More about just giving for one of the dev team who live in Jamaica whose lost basically everything. Some snippets of the 757/767 and just talking about people who seem to think they know best and rather they developed the 757 just for 24.

November 9, 2025Nov 9 As someone who doesn't see value in 2020 anymore, I don't actually mind them releasing there first. This is clearly a massive undertaking and sticking to what you've started with makes total sense. You just don't change your dev environment this far into it. The timings are interesting though, Sherwin is predicting 4-6 months for the flight systems to be complete and that puts the plane into Q2 2026 easily. Not to speculate of course. I actually think this is a good example for other devs to follow. Everyone is understandably hesitant to give release dates, but saying hey here's approximately how long this bit is going to take us is helpful. It manages expectations and much more useful than just "soon".
