Anyway, the lack of configuration options with products from the MS Marketplace has stopped me from using it. Well, I am usually a very patient man, but Global 24 has been updated to version 1.3 (and a significant update it is) for quite a while now yet Tuesday has come and gone and it still sits at version 1.1 and the core files have not been updated to the latest version either. Now, I get that most of the team was probably off on extended vacation over the holidays, but that is over now. Let's get back on track with timely updates or you are seriously making me regret my choice to support the marketplace with my dollars. Ken
January 8Jan 8 V 1.30 available in the MP now Edited January 8Jan 8 by MaGer1965 'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'
January 9Jan 9 Ok cautiously optimistic that they stick to this Tue / Thu faster update. I’ll give them the last week as a global holiday week. If I see them keeping up this reasonable pace (updates should be on marketplace in five days max after dev submits) for three months or so, I will switch most of my purchases over. I don’t mind waiting 3-5 days, but that’s about it. Let’s see, I guess. Edited January 9Jan 9 by JonathanC 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

January 9Jan 9 Nice to see the update released today, a little behind schedule because of the holidays as mentioned but it's available now. Thank you MS! Ken
January 11Jan 11 I have seen some ships so far with Global Shipping 24 installed, but I have not visited all that many coastal airports so far, so it is early days. The ships that I have seen (close to EGFF Cardiff and EGGP Liverpool) look very nicely detailed. I cannot remember if there were ships and boats close to every coastal airport that I visited in MSFS 2020 (with GAIST installed), but I did not see any this afternoon during my quick circuit of BIKF Keflavik. The more interesting story so far for me concerns Pyreegue Motorworks. I purchased this to upgrade the cars in my UK2000 airports and freeware airports. I had a quick flight at UK2000 EGTE Exeter yesterday, and I was happy to see these much improved cars in the main car park (very close to my parking spot at Gate 10). However, a quick exploration with the drone made me realise that some of the cars at this airport are actually better quality than the default assets. I decided to check the cars at the more remote locations at this airport, and surprisingly they were a mix of the better quality ones and the default cars. The Pyreegue vehicles are considerably better than any of these, so I would have preferred them to replace all of the cars here! I assumed that all of the top quality payware airports would have their own custom assets, but to my surprise I noticed that all of the cars at MK Studios BIKF Keflavik v2 are now the Pyreegue versions, so they must have used the default cars for this airport product. I was not expecting that. January 15Jan 15 Not sure what is going on but I bought the latest version of SeaFront a month. I don't spread my CC around the web so MP is the place for my one stop shopping.
January 20Jan 20 Installed seafront , which option i have to use insiede msfs 2024 ? No traffic. offline traffic or live traffic?
January 20Jan 20 I see ships with this package installed, but they all appear to be static?? Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

February 25Feb 25 Anyone know if this works with SU5 beta? I just did the 1 day rental (without even thinking I was in SU5) but don't see any ships at all. I've tried ports of Long Beach CA and Tampa Bay, FL. There's only default ships in the port... According to the maps I should at least several ships moving. I've set Sea traffic to off because the addon says it works without changing any sliders edit: went to straits of gibralter... where there should be heavy sea traffic...zero. Weird Oh shoot... pebkac I bet... didn't install the core library. Let's try that... forgot! YEP that fixed it! From my testing they do really focus on the global aspect. Which is great for seeing oceanliners etc. You're not really going to see small pleasurecraft or a lot of medium sized vessels. For instance near NYC, basically north of the Statute of Liberty there was no vessels in the Hudson. Maybe they'll make a NYC shipping package some day. The helipads are landable, there is decent night lighting, and as you get really close you can hear their wake... pretty cool! Anyway, here are some pics: Long Beach CA - that one ship in the left/middle probably was going to power through the seawall or whatever is called lol... and they do sort of turn on a dime... but it's not a terrible effect either... I would guess sim limitations. Near Duluth, MN / Superior, WI The red "laker" was kinda bobbing up and down oddly.. I didn't watch to see if it made it through the canal or not hehe. NYC Canakkale, Turkey This was starting to turn but it has a nice landable (hard deck) helipad! Maybe a grain or salt bulk carrier at night in the same area. Some of the lights seemed realistic but this has some super bright ones (maybe brand new LEDs lol) - some ships are duplicated but they are spaced out quite a bit so it's not super distracting or anything. Oh and so I rented this for day for .99 USD. The rental fee now applies to my purchase so it's only 18.99. I think the rental thing and trial thing is quite a genius idea. I was about to skip it but then I forgot about the Core library stuff... and voila! It was PEBKAC indeed but if it wasnt and I only spent a dollar that's basically a non event for me. You can also try it for 3 days for like 4 bucks or something. Overall I would recommend this product! March 1Mar 1 Hi Everyone - Has anyone had any kinds of lagging/stutters when using these ships? I can’t find any concerns online and am close to purchasing this as I do really miss seeing ships below me more than I thought I would - even the silly XP12 ships that don’t seem to follow routes add some immersion. But I fear stutters more than seasickness! 😂
