Do you clear all WASM related folders before update and let MSFS2024 rebuild Fenix, inibuild etc?

Thank Michael Moe

One of the more-recent SU4 builds did this 'automatically' for me several weeks ago.

Don't forget to go to your library as there is a very large update to the base content. Lee

Nothing here unless you want to install it to your HD rather than stream it.

Thanks , i just did it to be safe .

First load in the MAX 8 iFly looks really promising. Great performance even without restarting the sim after a WASM rebuild. Thats normally a performance hog at first build.

No, but make sure you delete the Rolling Cache and nVidia Caches !  Initially, I forgot to do it and strange things happened.  It looks great.

Actually, you need to let the base update run so the streaming will be updated. After that you don't have to install anything.

Edit, you might be right, it gets updated before streaming, well, I did it just in case.

It starts downloading 156GB. Is that necessary?

Clouds are looking good even with Dynamic Settings On.  Been flying over this stratus layer for a few hundred miles now.

I couldn't see this update...where is it in library?

AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo
64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

Is anyone having issues with REX Atmos after the update to SU4?

Mine loads, but then crashes (REX, not the sim).

If you only downloaded a few of the base items like aircraft, use the drop down arrow and only select those items that have "update available" highlighted. If you select the Base Packages item and hit update it will download the 156GB, you don't need that, just select the items you downloaded before.

Well hopefully Chaseplane support is not too far away - the last piece of the puzzle I need in place before moving on to 2024.

In the meantime, you can use the REX Atmos CORE beta version, which is operational until our team conducts our internal testing.
