I don't seem to have the Start Menu Update App I had with the 2020 version, anyone else just get this 2024 and missing the same?

Agree with Urgent above.  In the first place, there's nothing at all wrong with the roll behavior when banging the yoke to the limit - that's exactly what a light airplane does.  I hate to say it, but

Updated to the 2024 version (A very reasonable price i may add) And ended up buying the Aerostar as well lol.

Puchased the upgrade this morning, I had the 2020 plane working, but it's definitely worth the upgrade, it now has the native walk-around features of the new sim, and also of course the new GPSS feature, I didn't run a complete flight, but did a startup-to-cruise just to verify functionality. Yup, thing still is a pain to start, lol...  But its beautiful, going to enjoy many hours in the sim with this!  Thanks A2A!

Merry Christmas indeed 🙂

First video from someone!  (No music, no narration = my style):-

Thanks for the video demo. I'd be interested in seeing how to load, unload cargo in the back from outside the plane and how to clean the plane now that it gets dirty. I think Im a bigger fan of the A2A walk around style over this new way although, A2A did a great job on both styles. I have no need for another GPS, better auto pilot or the G5's as I already have the G5s with air manager and my real sim gear hardware. I couldnt see any reason to use anything of the native tablet as the A2A one has everything I need since I have Garmin Pilot running on its own tablet in my sim.

I suppose as I was typing this out I realized I dont need to upgrade so thank you for this video as it helped me make a decision.

Hehe nice

I think it has dual GTN options, a different AP option, it also has default Garmin G5 option.  I'm going to try to mod it to use the FSW beech sierra's G5 though

That would be sweet - The default G5 needs some serious WT love.

Check if CDI control is set to GPS, otherwise the GPS may not provide the steering data for the autopilot.

Yes, the CDI was set to GPS.....

The problem was the same route issue that others had, where they had blank screens.   I applied the fix that Lewis posted on the A2A forum and it fixed the issue.

GPSS now works.

I hope Lewis gets the recognition he deserves, providing support and a hotfix - on Christmas Day.

I wasn't able to do it but there's a user at the WT discord that has a very experimental mod, it utilizes the FSW Beech Sierra's G5.

And it totally transforms the look of the awful default version to one that almost looks like the G5 in the plane I fly irl!

Yeah, the default G5 is nasty!  To small and hard to read.  The FSW version in the Sierra is a dream!  I will keep an eye out for that mod!

Maybe we'll make a custom G5 in the future for our planes, no promises though. Got some higher priority items on the list first 😉

I find some oddity here because many captains want to fly the PA 24 Comanche, a plane built in the year 1956, like a modern executive jet. 😄

I prefer Vor navigation, like I did in the passed away PMDG DC-6. Hoping that this "new" Comanche FS24 dev, will improve the flight model, no loosing their time with these modern unrealistic nav toys.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

As a real GA-Pilot I can confirm, that no "real" aircraft in that performance category fly today with VOR-Navigation only. I think you should instead use a Steamtrain simulation. 🙂

Options are good and unrealistic? There is Comanches in the real world with Garmin G5s.... As you are probably aware its not uncommon for these older type of aircraft to get retrofitted with some modern day avionics.
