February 3Feb 3 I think my hangar is going to be filled with Black Squares, but one I am really looking forward to is the Caravan Professional. I probably flew the 208 more in 2020 than any other plane, and this new one promises to be even better. I would hope a release is coming pretty soon, as they had planned on releasing it last year. I think it needed sound work to finish. It will be an instant purchase. Anyone else waiting for this one? Old preview. Oh boy. https://www.justflight.com/articles/new-black-square-msfs-aircraft-in-the-works-november-2024 Edited February 3Feb 3 by RobJC 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
February 3Feb 3 I look forward to the 208 as well. Love everything from BS. Fly the 208 all the time, as well as the TBM and the Turbine Bo. But the ones I am waiting for even more than the 208 are the Aero Commanders. Can't wait for a well modeled Honeywell to play with, though I'm guessing with all Nick has on his plate it might be a while. Hope the 208 comes soon. :-)
February 3Feb 3 According the to developer, we "should" get a development update this week on the Just Flight website. As I exclusively fly GA. The Caravan is also my most anticipated Aircraft. Edited February 3Feb 3 by Flimsy Bagel Real Life Flight Sim Pilot
February 3Feb 3 Over a year waiting. I am no longer keeping my fingers crossed. To many nights crying in my pillow as another day goes by....🤣 Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
February 3Feb 3 I've never been mad about the Caravan, but in the absence of a decent Twin Otter and with the Caravan used for similar work, and if it's made by Black Square, it's an easy choice to make. The only black square aircraft so far that I haven't got is the Starship and I've only put off buying that because of my existing to-fly backlog.

It is their BEST most unique aircraft in their hanger. I own all of Just Flight planes and it is my go to, I love flying that thing. February 3Feb 3 I'd probably swap my entire BlackSquare fleet for a Super Cargomaster. That is the one I would fly the most. I'm sure I read February somewhere, but may have imagined it. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
February 3Feb 3 I always considered the Caravan (and all its variants) as so iconic, its kind of essential for a flight sim. Same for the Beaver and the C185. While the BS 208 is superb, I'm very happy that somebody is taking this on with all variants and in the quality it deserves. I was definitely missing the dedicated cargo and floats variants. I haven't read anything about the the new Caravan in a long time. One of my (i hope) 2026 highlights. I can highly recommend to recreate the "Classic Outback Pub Crawl" as offered by "Outback by Air" (check google, they have other great tours too). I did that in MSFS2020 not that long ago using the BS Caravan, created a Bushtrip for it. Great trip! Other really great real-world bushtrips using the Caravan are the RASS routes (mail plane) in Australia. e.g. check ChartAir (VH-TYH, VH-NGK) or Northern Territory Air Services (NTAS). NTAS is flying the RASS 100x routes now, which ChartAir served previously using Caravans.

And I'd not heard anything about an Aero Commander. Or has my half-heimers kicked in again? For my part, I'm really jonesing for anther good complex piston single. I'm well covered for piston twins and turboprops, but the Bonanza Professional is the only complex piston single I'm willing to fly anymore and I do like to change things up once in a while. (Yes, I know - the A2A Comanche, but I can't help it. I just don't care for Comanches.) Scott
February 3Feb 3 My dream is a Twin Otter in Blacksquare quality. But im also looking forward to the Caravan. 😅 Regards, Jan Ast Win 11 PC | Ryzen 7800 X3D | RTX 5080 | LG 42 C2 Cockpit 😉 | TrackIR 5 | Octavia IFR-1 | Virpil Alpha on WarBRD, Virpil CM3 Throttle, Virpil Sharka Control Panel | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | TM TPM Rudder
February 3Feb 3 It will be highly welcomed to have have a system rich float plane finally in the sim. Last one I can think of was the A2A Cub. i9-13900K O/C | ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Kingston FURY | RTX 4090 24GB | 2x SSD M.2 (2TB Samsung 990 PRO) 1x SSD (4TB Samsung 870 EVO) | Windows 11 Home | H20: HydroLux PRO:HardLine Tubing| 1000w PSU | Starlink WiFi

But there was a previewed early 3d model for a single commander and then of course the one I want, the turbine twin commander (he's also making a piston twin commander). If you're looking for a other piston single, I think the Flysimware Lancair Legacy will fit the bill. Not exact sure when it's supposed to come out. But they are doing a g3x/glass and analog panel. Along with some different variants like NA and turbocharged reno racer style... I simply cannot wait!!
