As others have mentioned, mouse over switch/button descriptions is an MSFS 2024 feature that you can activate.

Hmm...It didn't seem to work in the PMDG cockpits.

If you're getting the same systems, same cockpit, same sounds, same EFB, etc as a model you already own, I don't think you should be expected to pay the same price as someone who doesn't already own those components.    Just my opinion.  Feel free to consider it a bargain!

Yes, I should qualify for myself that I never owned the -900 in MSFS2020, so, it will be a first time purchase for me in MSFS2024, otherwise, I would not personally get it at the current price.

After all, I have not still got the -600 in MSFS2024, that I already owned in MSFS2020, but the Baby Boeing NG in MSFS2024 is often calling me…🙂…

Well, considering there have been multiple instances of "real pilots" flying for 13 years without a "real license" ... I kinda don't care be it real or pretend ... whatever works!  But given the number of pilot errors I've seen on YT, kinda makes me wonder about the entire aviation certification industry and their approach to safety first (second, third ... 10th ...) 

I haven't flown the -900 much in 2020 because I only fly real routes with the appropriate aircraft and the -900 has been quite niche in reality, so few units out there. But for 20 dollar upgrade price it's totally fine, every now and then I will fly it (maybe on a historical route) and that's fine for me.

Very true.

I closely examine the (Wiki) Accidents section of airliners I’m fond of; not out of morbid curiosity, but to understand what was going on in the minds of those pilots…technically and psychologically speaking…

Replete with errors and mistakes…and lots of heroics too, of course…

Well done on PMDG with the upgrade price. Totally fair and a welcome sign that they are changing for the better. 

They didn’t lower anything $20 is 60% off $50. The 700 will likely be back at $30 

Seeing I fly mainly US Carriers, Delta and United have a large amount of 737-900 in there fleet. Adding the 737-900 was a no brainer for me.

• Delta 739 - 163 Total
• United 738 - 141 Total
• United 739 - 148 Total

Don't forget Canadian North and their -700s.  I believe a few are former WestJet.  I heard that WestJet will be retiring a -700 for each new MAX they receive.  It'll be sad to see the -700 go.

No need to wait (and pay); the MSFS2020 -600 works very well in MSFS2024.
