That one is such a disappointment for me personally, but I get it. That said, I just can't fly anything turbo-charged that has that bug anymore. BTW, it will climb higher, you just have to lean it to get full power back, which is completely and utterly wrong below critical altitude. There are lots of planes I wish either A2A or Black Square would tackle, but I also get why they can't please everyone. Sure an A2A 172 would be great for some, but the market being so glutted does limit sales for them and has to impact their decisions. Same goes for the PA28s. It's one of the reasons why I'm never that pleased when Carenado crank out a plane that I like. I know the odds of another (better) developer doing it get reduced. 40 minutes ago, UrgentSiesta said: They’ve previously stated that they will eventually be bringing their entire portfolio forward. I hadn't heard this. Would certainly be good news for many of us. Scott

I had stopped flying the Arrow as soon as the Comanche hit the scene. But the v2’s are so much more pleasant to fly now. I’ve even started taking the Hawk out now and again. I’d fly it even more, but I have a tough time getting it trimmed for level flight. That’s probably a “Me” problem, but then again, it ain’t my first rodeo… And the fact that they cranked out Native 2024 versions for free, too! Anyhow, given the revival of A2A, and Black Square’s burgeoning hangar, I’m pretty dang happy right now. 😁

I'll have to concede right here since I ran my fool mouth before reading about A2A's proposed schedule for Q2 of the year (thanks @ryanbatc). So yeah it won't be a full year and FSW may lag. I expect they'll also issue daily updates for the first 6 months as they typically do. Which isn't a bad thing. And given that A2A also released their Aerostar as a beta product it will be interesting to see if they also continue that trend and what their update cycle is going to be. Maybe a better question will be which dev will declare their version to be a final release product first? Edited February 18Feb 18 by Stoopy "That's what" - She

Scott’s narrated vids directly sold me on a few of his addons when I was new to P3D and A2A. No longer necessary for ME, but I’d bet he could inspire a few new long time customers with another!

I've got some secondhand knowledge from a few Legacy drivers but I'd love to watch a video or two about Scott's legacy. Being experimental after all, they tend to all have a different personality of sorts. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

All the IRL vid of him flying it, etc. but really, the narration is what gets me every time: a pilot who loves flying so much he builds the best pixel planes for the rest of us! I think they wanted to do the same with the Aerostar, but that belly landing obviously got in the way. 🙁
