  • Not to mention those planes are dull and boring.   The Legacy is a pilot's plane.  Plenty to do or you might kill yourself.

  • Right up my very limited GA flying alley. Immediate purchase!

I mean, the only better view out a cockpit comes from sitting in an F-16! 😁

We might say the Legacy IS the F-16 of General Aviation, right?

Yup, I'd go for that. I wonder how Flysimware feel ........

I'd be willing to bet we'll see theirs out around a full year before we see the A2A version...

They might be out around the same time according to both devs posts.  A2A aiming for Q2 of this year and FSW will likely start a beta soon ish

Yes, 100% positive it's native. On my last PC two weeks ago with 2024 I first had the non-native one then I bought the Native one. Then when I got the new PC, new 2024 install and a brand new download from A2A which was native. If I click the fill buttons it goes empty. I have to use the + sign to fill the tanks, then if I click on any of the low, med, or full buttons, bam, it literally flies down to zero.

Oh I didnt check that.  I only used the plus and minus sign to change values

Someone posted a little while ago that he had the same problem.

It is true that there are certain issues that they do not address or avoid, such as the issue of the aeroplane jumping around illogically when you set the turbulence to realistic (I do not know if this has been resolved), whether it is capable of interacting with Active Sky, Realturb, etc.

Otherwise, for me personally, they seem to be the best GA add-ons in MFfS, especially in terms of the flight feel/model I've tried, which is where I tend to like most other developers less.

I'll bite. What's the bet?

Keeping an eye on this one may be my first GA purchase since Realair Legacy in FSX over 10 years ago.

That looks mighty interesting as well, with the glass cockpit variant. Also, the interior looks like it's might be a different or newer version? The center console looks different. Back in the day the Realair Legacy was one of my favorites. Great to get two different types back in MSFS!

Where do they look after such Ideas ???

Why no the C172, the PA28 or warbirds they did in FSX/P3D ?

I’m guessing no 172 because the sim already has multiple versions - built-in, freeware and commercial.

I have also only used the plus and minus signs. That is not really a live or die situation though. At least not to me.

To each their own I guess but notice that, while it may not interest you, there's a lot of buzz here for the Legacy from others.  Many of us flew the Real Air Legacy back in the day, loved them, and have long hoped someone would do a good one for MSFS.

I owned their 172 in P3D and would have zero interest in it if they brought it over.  There was nothing wrong with it, it's just that after I bought it I was reminded why I transitioned out of a 172 in my real world flying as fast as I could as it just didn't work well for the kind of flying I did.  Turns out the same thing was true in the sim.  Go figure.  And as others have noted, there are already multiple options out there for the 172 as well as pretty much all of the PA28 lineup.  That market is well saturated.

The warbird situation is a bit of a head-scratcher, I'll give you that.  While not personally my thing, I know the civilian Mustang was hugely popular and it is a bit of a mystery as to why they've not brought that one over.

Personally, I wish they'd bring over their superb V35B but apparently their numbers don't show enough interest.  Such is life.
