yup. And not only those. I see a lot of bad Photoshop stamping...

Just for comparison, what (admittedly: extremely well-made) freeware graphics are called today: https://download.avnxsim.com/

    Oh grow up.

  • Many people mention, how smooth the performance with the Aero A340 is. Even on big airports (main destinations for the 600). I guess the performance was one main reason, they don't use high res text

The guy in that video needs glasses. The difference is quite large in favour of the IniBuilds where texturing is concerned. I immediately noticed it when i loaded the A346, it feels "X-Plane-ish" whil

isn’t good enough just to have good systems it needs to be the full package

It's really annoying that Fenix has made it practically impossible to charge exorbitant prices for mediocrity.😁😁😉

The thing I'm most interested about with this aircraft is the ground handling "feel" because ToLiss have nailed it in all of their aircraft in X-Plane. Fenix and FSLabs never quite feel correct when taxiing so I'm really hoping that ToLiss make the A340 feel like it does in X-Plane. If they do, it'll set a benchmark for everyone else.

It seems very good but the drawback for me is that apart LH, only a few A340-600 are still flying those days. And my VA only has limited classic routes for the A340-600.

But it is just personal.

Can everything be set up in the FMS in an Airbus A340-600? I rather like doing that in the PMDG Boeings, and I prefer it over switching back and forth to the EFB.

I prefer better systems over how/where is the specific type used. And I prefer better systems over eyecandy.

That sounds more harsh than I wanted it to be... 🙂

Yeah, the -600 is rarely used these days. I still prefer the better systems (as it seems right now with the Aero/Toliss) over the Inibuilds one. And I accept some unrealistic legs then (not flown by this type IRL)...
And yeah, the textures aren't state of the art right now (also wingflex is now present, but quite rudimentary, to say the least). And I really do like good visuals. But again, if I have to make a choice, I prefer better systems over good visuals.

It's a tough statement - but it seems the part, Aerosoft is/was responsible for, is far behind 'state of the art'. Whereas Toliss delivered.

Well, let's wait and see the release version.

Judging from what I saw in the now running twitch stream it didn't change for the better. I mean..for 39.90 the textures are tolerable. I fear the price will be much higher.

Like others have said here.  I’m looking forward to how this feels and operates.  I own the fsl and Fenix but both aren’t amazing (in my opinion) in ground effect both while taking off and crucially in the flare.  The streams/videos of this that I’ve watched look like the aircraft behaves like something heavy.

Time for some Virgin ops!

There’s other devs you know…

@FPVSteve, VERY THIS !!!

Unfortunately for me the videos I've seen so far don't suggest that this feel of inertia, while on ground, has been achieved.

I guess the "external" FM plays only while not in contact with the ground, but I might be wrong OFC...

Anyway I will wait and see, although I 2nd your point regarding the feel of ground physics in simulators like X-Plane and IL-2 when compared to MSFS 😕

ToLiss charges $90 for each of their addons in XP.

In MSFS, I expect them to charge something similar to the other Hi Fi Airbus devs.
