Nice aircraft. There is something about it that feels about 90%..not sure what though. A2A aircraft feel 100% out of the gate.

I get that. I love their products but there is that feeling of watching a screen in their products and not flying a plane

I find the TBM850 the 414 and the Commanche were able to achieve  that immersion feeling.

I dont even think they know how they achieved it. I can't even describe it but it's there.

Still great planes. love all the Black Square products.

The new A36 regular is my favorite but hoping the Caravan becomes beats it.

Spawning on RWY (so as not to destroy engine trying to start) everything is fine, all warning and notification lights are extinguished or nominal. So far so good.  For me if I engage GPS (NAV) on RWY I get this loud sound of gravel in a bucket being shaken.  Anyone else and if so any idea what it is cuz the plane still flies and the sound goes away at rotation.  TIA, Blue skies,

I take some of it back

Its early and I keep burning out the engines for some reason, but the Caravan feels really good to me. Cockpit feels very immersive.

Having a lot of trouble getting the AP to even engage. I think I figured out the engine management, so I am not ruining the engine every time, but it just beeps when I try to engage the AP and i was flying on the course. It won't even let me set the ALT or VS.

I have linked the problems i am having to the TDS plugin. Without it installed the plane and AP appears to be normal. I will reinstall TDS to see if that fixes it.

I have yet managed to fly it without damaging the engines.

Barely getting it up to speed and the ITT is always high no matter what I do.

No problems with the AP the times I have used it but I have the Gtnxi tds version

No problems here. I always ensure with turbo props when adding power, to increase propeller RPM first then the throttle. Then at cruise, decrease the throttle first before lowering the propeller RPM. Also, make sure you properly use the Initial Separator on the ground if on an unimproved runway surface, during taxi and during icing. It should be pulled out.

Just checking you've removed the covers from the engine intake, etc. 😉

Disable TDS. Different plane.

Anyone flying this with Chaseplane and FSRealistic installed? Just wondering if that is causing my "quiet" sounds. I clearly have sound in cockpit and external, but it is VERY weak.

Prop for the Caravan should be left at 1900 rpm all the time.

you can pull it back to 1800 for cruise if you want the quiet, but not necessary.  Just push it back full for landing at some point.
