May 27May 27 I believe fs2024 obtains its real traffic via flightaware, so if you have a good set of a/c models in FS, would the FSTL/Navigraph option be expected significantly better ?
May 27May 27 Surprised and pleased. I just parked at KDEN and looked at traffic displayed in the sky. I saw 5 flights displayed in the air. They were indeed shown and were real.

I could be confused because I've done a lot of experimenting lately with default RealTime traffic as well as BATC's herky-jerky traffic, and FSLTL. I'll look again a little later today...A little later...indeed, it's working as it always has, on the old injector. May 27May 27 I've done 3 flights since linking up Navigraph/FSLTL and in each case I got stuck behind a lineup of aircraft taxying for the holding point. I've got flying, taxying, and parked all over the place.

May 27May 27 So, Navigraph is 9 USD a month. I could just pay an extra 6 USD per month, subscribe to Say Intentions and have controlled AI? Plus MSFS2024 comes with its own charts, free of charge right? So, it seems 6 USD extra per month is worth it for say intentions. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something?Considering that you can buy the sim itself for ninety quid both are ridiculously expensive!😂 I dare not look how much I pay now for Navigraph. Edited May 27May 27 by jarmstro
May 27May 27 I haven't done anything different, using the same old FSLTL injector as I've used for years, don't have the Navigraph Ultimate, and yet I'm getting the same parked and active AI traffic I've always had. Why? May 28May 28 After takeoff the aircraft seem to level off at a very low altitude and remain there.Could this be a SID/STAR issue, if the option to use them in the FSLTL options is enabled? Edited May 28May 28 by cowpatz Clarity. Cheers Steve Hall

Traffic is OFF in BATC. I rebooted, cleanly updated to the latest NV driver, did KSAN KSFO in the IFly MAX 8, and had lots of ground traffic and air traffic, as configured in FSLTL. I went to open SimBrief and got a pop up from Navigraph where I had to resign in and I thought that may be the end of FSLTL prior and current 'normal' behavior. But...it was totally fine at KSAN as usual. Strange, no explanation! But both were visual approaches and it left me WAAAY too high. In the Legacy I went into KCVH (Hollister CA) and it tried to line me up for the runway (no tower)... which irl I would kinda do as an ATC for larger jets. But for small props just leave me direct and I'll call the field in sight. It sort of drove me into rising terrain as well hehe... but it turned me away just in time. In the C680 just now I'm trying to get into MKE but it left be super high again (even though I asked for descent at TOD), and now it's trying to bring me around after issuing me a go around lol. It has me slowed way down to 190 kias about 15 miles from the airport (which for ATC sequence could be very realistic but it doesnt actually separate me so im not sure why it would bring me back to like a 5-7 mile final). It's also giving me that stupid 10 degree increment... "turn right heading 250, 260, 275, 285" ooooook.edit: conclusion at MKE... it left me high... vectored me basically onto a 10 mile final (fine), but then left me go through the final (the ils final approach course just as a reference), and then called the field, i reported it in sight and had to do 2000 fpm to get onto glide path. It neglected to have me contact tower LOL.... so yeah a major fail.I'm not surprised that it failed so bad on the arrival portion as neither of these airports have STARs... When BATC doesnt have structure it starts to struggle. May 28May 28 BATC just announced that they are working to integrate this new Navigraph service into their traffic injector as well. I mean they already have a decent, yet outdated database of a weekly schedule from last years summer, but the new live integration is even cooler.
