Yesterday at 05:31 PM1 day I just bought the Lear 35. I really like it for the most part. I'm not a super big fan of the newer generation of avionics. Though I do like the GTN 750. The flight model seems very sensitive to me. Especially the rudder. Though I may need to tweak my settings for the plane. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Yeah it's annoying when you start up from cold and dark, get airborne and you can't load a STAR or IAP. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
Yesterday at 10:16 PM1 day The premise here was what to get after the Citation X. It seems like the Phenom and the Sovereign+ are strong candidates. What if the question was which larger business jet to get (including the Citation X in the mix)? Would you all still prefer the Phenom and Sovereign?Like Ryan, I find that sounds are fundamental to the experience and would overlook some poorer textures for better sounds. Basically, I'm wondering how the X (it's not an X+ right?) compares to the other two...Thank you.

The Lear is one of my favorite handling (jet) addons.
21 hours ago21 hr It really depends what you're looking for. I had the FSW Learjet 35 before the Citation X and really like the analogue gauges and vintage feel to it. It's also a darn solid product from FSW with many GPS options.I really want to like the Falcon 50 and had the FSW version in P3D. But I really am not a fan of the GNS-XLS because it does not seem polished enough. The FSW version in P3D had some different addon GPS options available.
13 hours ago13 hr In MSFS2020, my go to executive aircraft is the default CJ4. There are some great mods on Flightsim.to for it, and it is a joy to fly with surprisingly good performance (it storms up to 43,000 ft).

I've found that once you get used to the UI quirks (which I can only assume are true to the real unit) it's pretty easy to whiz around and I haven't had any major fumbles with it yet. 7800X3D - RTX 5080 - 64GB DDR5 - Dan C4-SFX

I'm HIGHLY awaiting these two bizjets. FlightFX has a few things up their sleeve as well ;) I almost forgot about the upcoming Just Flight Lear 45!You also forgot the Xtreme Prototypes Lear25. It can be a real handful to fly, just like the real thing. And it even comes with an 8-track player (also designed by Bill Lear) to get those 70s grooves on. :D Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

Would you all still prefer the Phenom and Sovereign?I personally don’t have any of the Flight FX addons. And it’s because I’m a study level snob. I just don’t have the time or patience for a bunch of very similar civ jets. So, I end up only buying addons that are regarded as genuinely High Fidelity. (And just to be perfectly clear: this is a ME problem😁)I ran the Longitude once it got the AAU update, and even more once it was further upgraded for v2024. And it had everything to do with learning how very deeply the Working Title team simulated the Jet. Ground handling is pretty good (better than PMDG for sure). And my only real nit pick with it is performance in the flare (and this is common with many MSFS addons). So if money is a consideration, I’d argue the Longitude is impossible to beat, particularly when on sale. Based on my experience with the outstanding FSR500, I bought into the Phenom immediately.I specifically did NOT wait for the Sovereign because it’s the first plane from a new team. And TBH, it’s a subset of the Longitude, so I wasn’t that excited for it. BUT now that it’s been out and has gotten solid reviews across the board AND is getting a steady stream of meaningful updates, I think it’s in the list for later on. But TBH, and again: the Lear, regardless of its smaller size, is the sweet spot out of all of them for me. It’s really a “Goldilocks” addon, IMHO.
