Sunday at 04:03 PM2 days For the past few days, our house has been buzzed directly overhead by a 767-200 (or rather a KC-46 tanker) at 2,300 Ft altitude and nearly 300 mph (DASH56 on FlightAware if interested in today’s flight, we live about midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay near KSBM).A very cool thing to witness, and I managed to get it on video both times! (Though it probably means the end is coming soon for the KC-135s parked at Milwaukee). In any case, I think a 767 would be marvelous, but haven’t heard of anyone developing one?The KC-46 would be a nice expansion if someone did the 767-200.I’ve had the pleasure of riding on one Delta 767-200 and many United and Shanghai Airlines 767-300s and found them to be very comfortable planes as most of the width was dedicated to aisles, and the freighter version is still very popular.Just general musings after the latest flyover at Cessna altitudes and hearing those engines. 😂

Sunday at 04:52 PM2 days It is surprising giving the fact the 767 is still being produced today, 45 years after first flight.
Sunday at 05:03 PM2 days The ones by flight factor in. X-plane are the only good ones available. I still enjoy the 757 on the rare occasion I feel like flying airliners. Systems are great tho graphics are somewhat dated. There is, IIRC, a Captain Sim 767, and C-46 available for MSFS, too. But those are the controversial “basic” builds. OTOH, the nice thing about CS is they do actually make good models - they just can’t do systems any more. Speaking of mil jets, I’ve got to get back to my BBS C-130J. 😎

Sunday at 05:45 PM1 day I can only speak for me but the sooner the 767 vanishes from the sky the better.I live near one of Germany's two freight Hubs and the low frequency bass rumble of the 767 freight machines is the worst. It will give you night terrors.
Sunday at 06:29 PM1 day I can't imagine not liking the sound of jets and being a flight sim dude. For whatever reason I don’t remember them departing overhead and sadly rarely saw such landings during the day, but I loved watching them at night from our bathroom window. One morning before work an ATA L-1011 sailed overhead, and I still have the snapshot of our house from the Mesaba Saab 340 I was riding in. For an “APICS” tour we were driven around the UPS ramp at night which was also a treat. I believe KRFD has only become much busier for both freight and passengers since we left.

I loved the Level D 767 and would love even more to see one in MSFS.
