  1. Past hour
  2. Guys, just to let everyone know that a few hours ago new official simbrief profiles have been added, for all the dukes they are named BE60, BE6G and B60T https://forum.navigraph.com/t/b60t-simbrief-profile-request/15662/12
  3. No, it's simply you and the others who can't feel the additional latency added. I was incorrect in one thing, it's not frame latency RTSS adds, also why your CapFrameX results are completely worthless in this discussion. It's overall PC render latency that is increased when you use RTSS with FG. For the casual user, it may feel smooth and the frame delivery is still smooth but there's absolutely a bigger overhead, ranging between 20 and almost 60ms! Exact reason why the mouse movement feels so sluggish. (Off-screen because nothing will capture the Nvidia overlay) FPS capped with Nvidia Control Panel; Capped with RTSS Front Edge Sync; And that will be sailing all over the place. And again, I will state this in bold; THE VERY DEVELOPERS of the program you keep peddling on this forum have said RTSS is not compatible, exactly because of the above; it adds a lot of latency and in other games, a lot of stutters; https://twitter.com/CapFrameX/status/1620511329416265728 They also suggest using Nvidia's control panel to cap; https://twitter.com/CapFrameX/status/1620514721534476288 A simple Google search will confirm RTSS is not compatible and is generally suggested NOT to be used with FG because it adds a lot of latency or in some cases, completely kills performance. It's universally known at this point. So before you post another worthless CapFrameX graph or quotes from your converts, install the Nvidia overlay and confirm it for yourself.
  4. Beautiful set, always nice to see a 747-8 in Action. cheers ๐Ÿ˜‰
  5. Today
  6. Open Microsoft Store and go into your Library. "Get Updates." See if that solves your problem.
  7. Then something else is amiss on both of your systems as there is no subjective latency whatsoever. RTSS async is wretched, and no other locking schemes produced the subjective impression w/ edge sync does and that's not just my take. This 'as just moving the mouse feels like it's moving through molasses' is just flat out laughable. Not sure what's different for you and the OP, but none of that happens here, with or without FG. Here's another anecdote from someone who tried Edge Sync for the first time and there are others, using FG. I wonder what's different for you and the OP... >>Hey Noel, Hope all is well and that you are enjoying your new 4090.... RTSS FPS - 80 Front Edge Sync I just departed Liverpool airport in the Fenix with FSLTL and ran CapFrameX for 15 minutes, Overall I am pretty pleased. The smoothness is beyond exceptional locked at 80FPS. One thing I did stumble on is that when I enabled the NVIDIA filters it messed with my FTV so I turned them back off Quote
  8. Cant seem to find a fix that will let me set my HOTAS throttle all the way down without it going into the reversers in the sim. That would be fine if I had a detent, but I don't. Is there something silly I'm missing?
  9. Thank you John! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks buddy! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thank you Bernd! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Many thanks Andy! ๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah, it's SimFX. Excellent addon!
  10. No this was meant only as a OP question to monitor CPU temps during the events of stutters. Michael Moe
  11. Well, it would be the easiest thing to confirm with an overlay that captures the direct frame latency, Nvidia's own works, whilst also showing something confirming FG to be active. OP just confirmed exactly what I was saying mere 4 minutes before I posted it.
  12. I'm not a hardware expert but I would think you would want to increase the CPU to get the latency lower. How were you able to throttle your CPU to bring the latency down?
  13. I know this is a properly banalt but CPU throttling possible ? I noticed is offcause on my system for a couple of days ago and now all is good again even with AIG Michael Moe
  14. I use RivaTuner. Vsync is on with Nvidia Control Panel only. Vsync off in the sim. Gsync is always on windowed and fullscreen. Riva tuner is set to 58 FPS and I use DynamicLOD (not autofps) and the FPS limiter is DynamicLOD is set to 57. Smooth nearly everywhere except for New York.
  15. Well, not true here with or without DLSS FG on. I leave it off because of visual artifacts not worth the additional frames. A few others tried this here and were duly struck by the subjective smoothness of animation, including Cpt_Piett and a few others willing to try it. No such thing as massive latency here can't relate in the slightest and none of the people mentioned ever reported anything about input latency.
  16. Version 0.9.28+patch1 is the current version. Where do you come up with v0.9.02?
  17. I just did some split testing seems like lasso the way I have it set up on my system brought the latency down on the main thread down about 1ms and gave some more stability. I am going to need to use AutoLOD because the most I can squeeze out of my system in dence airport scenery and traffic is about 50 TLOD.
  18. Yes I just split tested, it seems to do better with the NCP frame limiter for my system. I cap it 2-3 frames below the hz of the monitor.
  19. Did you turn on the autothrottle? I only ask because I was well into my climb last night before i realized I hadnโ€™t, oops! ๐Ÿ˜Š Also, there seems to have been a change in the throttles. Iโ€™m pretty sure I used to be able to push them all the way forward and the autothrottle would maintain speed in the correct setting. However, now if you push them all the way forward you will go into Go Around override mode which could be why youโ€™re going so fast, I had the same issue. Pull the throttles back a bit until you are in the expected climb mode. Once I figured those two things out it all worked well. There is a second knob on the speed knob that slides back and forth between FMS or manual speed mode, make sure itโ€™s set to FMS mode if thatโ€™s what you want to use.
  20. I don't care about non-FG data, as that's not what we are talking about. I question the validity of the actual output captured by CapFrameX when the developers themselves state it's not compatible and it's quite universally known across every tech forum that RTSS simply isn't working correctly with Nvidia's Frame Generation. Open any technical overlay and look at the current frame latency with any of the edge syncs, even async, you'll see it's close to or exceeds 100ms. I mean, you don't even need to see an overlay, you can feel it right away that you have massive added latency, as just moving the mouse feels like it's moving through molasses
  21. I believe this may have been the answer I was searching for. I got the closest I possibly could to balancing the CPU latency with the GPU latency and it seems much smoother. I will be doing a couple VATSIM flight this weekend to make sure this solves the issue I am facing. It seems like a lot of people in the comments on the video with the combination of a 4090 and 7950X3D had the same issue I was experiencing, and I can already notice quite a large difference by employing the methods outlined in the video. Sadly I can only really strike the balance by bringing my TLOD to 50 and below, but I prefer to not have stutters...I had to bring my render scaling to 130-140 to match the CPU latency on the GPU and all GPU settings to ultra.
  22. Thank you so much for this! Worked like a charm for me too!!
