  1. Didn’t find one when I did a Google search.
  2. Until the pilot tells his story there's no way to know for sure.
  3. Anyone who might own their Heathrow v2. How is the performance as compared to the default?
  4. Here's a video that gives an explanation of what might have happened.
  5. What? You're not going to stay in Dallas where it's 100 degrees every day and it doesn't rain? I don't understand. 😁
  6. Yep. The parking brake works the way it does in the actual airplane. You have to push the tops of the rudder pedals down all the way and pull the parking break handle back to set the brakes. To release the brakes you have to depress the tops of the rudder pedals and the brake handle will return to the release position. It's not enough to just click on the handle.
  7. The girls must be tough where you're from if you call them guys. I try to stay away from women whose beards are heavier than mine.
  8. Pilot to ATC will check most of those boxes. While it sees AI traffic it does not control it. I don’t think there is any program that does that. Maybe the default ATC does but I’ve never used it. Pilot2ATC has a free trial so you can check it out before you commit. The developer is very interactive with his customers and the program is updated regularly.
  9. I'm originally from Ohio but have lived in Texas for the last 20 years. I absolutely refuse to say y'all. Like you, I say you guys.
  10. " All y'all" the plural of y'all.
  11. Actually you can hear the APU from the cockpit IF the ramp is quiet like it would be early in the morning or late at night. Under normal circumstances you're right, you can't hear the APU from the cockpit.
  12. Just the nosewheel light is brutally bright. I’ve marshalled 737’s when the pilot forgot to turn off the taxi light. I would stop them and point to my eyes to get their attention. I don’t know why PMDG has an issue with this. As stated previously they had the same issue in P3D.
  13. In my 36 year airline career I went through multiple name changes and 4 mergers. In 1979 I was hired by Allegheny Airline in Cleveland. The name was changed to US Air. We then merged with Pacific Southwest Airlines and then Piedmont. The name was then changed to US Airways. Next came the merger with America West, and finally the merger with American in 2015. I retired in January of 2016.
  14. Mine will be here tomorrow. Got $50 off because of Amazon Prime Day. I'll see how it stacks up against Track IR.
  15. Same procedure we used at US Airways\ American. We would airstart one at the gate and they would have to crossbleed to start the second engine after pushback. Some pilots would get irate when you wouldn't let them start both engines at the gate. Sorry sport, it's a safety issue.
  16. Go to Controls in MSFS and find the flight controls category. There's a box for both flaps and spoiler that says reverse. Click on both boxes and save. You should be good to go.
  17. Dave is a one man shop. I can't remember if the license keys are computer generated or if he has to send them. He's very responsive so I'm sure he'll get to you when he sees this.
  18. I did that today for the first time. The upside is that you get contrails with ai traffic. The downside is the traffic isn’t accurate as far as airlines. I was flying into Sydney and there were Alaska and Westjet 737’s. It’s not a deal breaker but a little bit of an immersion killer.
  19. And with the last one the eagle turned into a seagull.
  20. 66. Been simming since 1988.
  21. Another issue that we encountered here in the US after 9/11. Any aircraft that overnighted on a gate equipped with a jetway, once the aircraft was shut down for the night the jetway had to be removed from the aircraft which meant that the ground power had to be disconnected. In the morning when we came in we had to pull the jetways up to the aircraft and either attach ground power or start the APU's. Some crews got downright hostile if they came out to the aircraft and it was either very cold or very hot.
  22. I worked in Fleet Service for a US Airline. One of our responsibilities was to start the APU's on the originating aircraft in the mornings to make sure they were warmed up or cooled off depending on the weather. We also had to reposition aircraft from the hard stand to the gates which required starting the APU's. Depending on the price of fuel at the time would determine how long the APU's ran. It was rare that a crew got on the plane with it completely cold and dark.
