    If MSFS is entertainment then so is P3D and Xplane. The comment that MSFS is a entertainment flight sim and P3D and Xplane are not is just a ridiculous notion. All three, sim the flight experience. I would submit that MSFS will have the highest user base. And these users will range from the guys that like to fly airplanes into the ground in their neighborhood,, to guys the enjoy multiplayer fly-ins, to guys that are interested in flying "study level" aircraft.

    I agree .. Xplane survived when MS flight sim was going very strong. Xplane first released on Nov 30, 2000 Its been around for 20 yrs now.

    The default pause key assignment is the pause/break key on the keyboard

    I fixed this problem in the sound options. In the text to speech unselect Azure and select Windows offline. You have to have the English Language Pack installed.

    It appears to me that you hate this flight sim hobby. I am basing my view on how you wrote you comments.

    This is just as much of a simulator as Xplane is. When the 3rd party developers provide some high fidelity aircraft and with some FS20 bug fixes, I am confident that MSFS20 will have a huge community of simmers.

    I think we will see some of the major developers drop or slow down development for X-plane to focus on MSFS2020. I should start a topic, "Today I have committed to MSFS2020" - except will continue to run XPlane, P3D, and AF2.

    I do not think trains in a flight sim add much to realism. If that is on the development list, it should be very far down. Simulating passengers, airport operations, ATC should come before trains.

    Personally, the ATC in P3D is better than the xplane ATC.
