  1. There is a Summer/Fall 2016 schedule update available, but really why spend the money on it? As a program UT2 hasn't been updated, so it doesn't accurately reflect current active and defunct airlines and there are still numerous 'Daedalus' repaints. Even for the currently active airlines many of the repaints are out of date. If you only care about having traffic and not accuracy of routes, airlines, etc., then save yourself some effort and leave it as is. If you do care about accuracy of routes, repaints, etc. then you'll need to follow AnkH's suggestion. Ernie.
  2. Hi Chris, A couple other things then I'm pretty much out of ideas. I'm on Windows 7, so yours may be different, but do the panels show up in devices and printers? If so, and SPAD still doesn't recognize them you might give the Saitek plugins a try to see if they work. They work similar to SPAD in that you need to insert an entry into EXE.XML and they run only when FSX/P3D is running. You can't customize anything, but at least you'll know if it's the hub or SPAD. Sorry that I can't offer more.. Good luck, Ernie
  3. Hi Chris, Obvious first two questions are; 1) Is the hub being recognized by Windows? 2) Have you plugged anything other than the panels into the hubs to insure it will be recognized? On the final question; plugging a power supply into the Saitek yoke simply turns it into a powered hub, which insures anything plugged into it has sufficient power.
  4. Not sure why the difference, but klamal is correct.
  5. Hi, AS16 should already be open although it may be minimized, or hidden by FSX. You may have to pause FSX, maximize AS16, input your new airport code, etc. if you're not on autopilot. 'Conditions' will be one choices on the top screen selection menu, along with WX Control, etc. BTW, this will probably be more difficult if you are flying full screen rather than windowed mode. FWIW, The ideal solution for always having visible access to AS16 is to throw it on a second computer.

    P3D 3.4

That's possible. I use NG and don't have P3D, so it's never been an issue for me.

    P3D 3.4

Thanks.. I just wanted to be sure. There is some more conversation on the Aerosoft SIMstarter NG support forum if you want to read it.

    P3D 3.4

SIMstarter freeware.. No and never will have since it is no longer supported. The payware version; SIMstarter NG is currently being updated will have support for P3D 3.4 in October.
  9. I think the 'North America' part was what confused users. The Orbx AI aircraft never covered North America. It only contained AI for some of the earlier regions (PNW, etc.). Some of the later regions and airports had their own AI.
  10. The Navigraph FMS Data Manager will display the current Airac cycle for each Addon. There is also usually a text file in the addon's Navigraph directory which contains the Airac cycle number.
  11. I do most of my flying in North Central US and IMHO OpenLC NA does a much better job of dealing with the repetitive landclass textures present in FSX default, UTX, GEX, Scenery Tech, etc. All of which I own and have used in the past.
  12. That type of question will get you banned from AVSIM. No discussions regarding bypassing software security, etc. is permitted.
  13. Hopefully you've installed the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver because the EVO is a bit slow without it. Even then I didn't experience a wow! moment when first ran fsx with it installed. Faster yes, but not lightening. Ernie
  14. The answer is yes, but you will have to create a VMR file which contains the PMDG aircraft and the model model it is to be matched to. vPilot has VMR files for UT2, MyTraffic, WOAI, etc. If you have one of these then model matching is pretty straight forward. However, the install doesn't include a VMR for most standalone aircraft. To create a custom VMR file you'll need to look at one of the files that came with vPIlot to see the format. Despite the VMR suffix, it's just a simple text file. Ernie
  15. Correct, although the page contains download links for all three versions it isn't clear that $79.95 is for the P3D version. . The FS2004 and FSX version are considerably less. Also, if you go to the three individual pages only the P3D version contains the coupon. That is why I stated it was a bit confusing. However, that's my opinion and others may not find it so..
  16. The listing is a bit confusing. Are you getting all three versions or just one? The text in red states " $10.00 Off iFly Jets 737NG for 2004/FSX/P3D", but the paragraph below reads "Each version requires a separate purchase". Price displayed is for the P3D version, the FS2004 and FSX versions are listed as $54.95.
  17. HI Mark, I assume, perhaps incorrectly that you're referring to SIMstarter NG. If so, I would recommend jumping over to the official support site at Aerosoft. Look at the first item currently under the Topics header. Although it deals with FSX:SE the solution might be similar. Otherwise a quick search should yield a solution.
  18. Following up on Bert's post: Try ForceWindowedVsync=1 in [Graphics] section of your fsx.cfg file. If that doesn't do it and you're running Windows 7 then you'll need to also restart Aero. One way is with SIMstarter NG, approx $15 USD or you can create a batch (*.bat) file containing the following and run it after FSX starts. net stop uxsms net start uxsms Ernie
  19. Not sure if it's true for this aircraft, but many use shift+e+1, shift+e+2, shift+e+3, etc. Which number depends upon which door.
  20. Yeah, it's an dumb question, but have you ran the FTX Vector configuration tool yet to see if that corrects it?
  21. I did some searching and it looks like the manual exclusion feature only applies to the airports in the ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC folder. That's why you can't find LDZA listed. You might try moving the airport up the list to see if something is stepping on it. Otherwise, I'm at a loss and hopefully someone can step in with a solution.
  22. The solid line only appears if you are in flight and connected. Although I haven't flown since MapQuest became unavailable so things might have changed with OpenStreets.
  23. If you want to see if lack of exclusion is an issue you can force Vector to manually exclude it by entering the aiport code yourself. Just be aware that if you then run the automatic exclusion, your change will be overwritten, so do it after any automatic action. The other thing I would suggestion is to run Simple Airport Scanner to insure that it's not due to duplicate scenery interference.
