Using Navigraph for the AIRAC update is pretty simple, but has a way been found to update the different payware aircraft navigation systems data? For example I tried to use the G1000 on the Carenado Phenom 100 but realised after all these years that the data is nearly 15 years old! It doesnt have departure procedures for quite a few airports (or at least the ones I tried). I know that I can used RealityXP GTN (as I do with the Carenado PC 12 mod) but that sort of defeats the object.

FYI It is possible to get the 717 to work in v6 using the TFDI download manager. Thanks to Colin at TFDI for sorting it all out for me, great customer service, 5/5!

It would be easier and more convenient, not to mention far cheaper, to just buy a cheap android tablet and a subscription to Navigraph, then install Spacedesk (which turns your tablet into a desktop display the same as a second monitor) and view the charts that way. I used to do it that way when I was subscribed to Navigraph. You can also pop out the RXP GTN750 from your flightsim and drag & drop it to the tablet, then the touch screen works as well.

I have the TFDI 717 on OrbX, and it works as it should via Orbx Central in v5. Is it possible to install it in v6 though? I have seen a video on youtube where it is fully working, but I am unable to get it to function properly. I have read that their are official installers for v6 but I cannot find them or any reference to them on TFDI's website. I have tried searching on AVSIM and various search engines without any success.

Nobody who knows is willing to spill the beans (NDA!), so its all speculation. But if we get a v7 youtube trailer as laughable as the v6 one im moving on to Xplane!

I've been puzzled at your lack of performance with P3D and LS until I noticed your PC description - your cpu is a 10 year old spec, extremely dated in desktop PC terms. I bet if you used P3D v3.4 or 4.5 your performance would skyrocket on that system with LS, v5 and v6 are much more demanding of pc horsepower, so I am not surprised that you struggle to get good frames.

Bournemouth definately has SIDs, as they were available with Navigraph subsciption. Are they not flown IRL?

Thanks to every one who supllied links and stuff. I no longer use Navigraph so I was hoping to find an easier/free source for charts. Unfortunately the specific airport I wanted SID's for (EGHH) doesnt supply them on the AIS website!

Sadly Reaction Engines has ceased operations as funding was not forthcoming for the next step in the program. The Sabre engine really seemed like it was on its way to greatness as well.

You could try Mobiflight, which is compatible with Winwing. Although you will have to make your own profiles (Aerosoft A330 and FSLabs A320 are available online, couldnt find any others).

Dave2013, How do you start the 737-900 engines? They wont even start with Ctrl-E! Battery on Ground Power on APU to start Beacon on Ignition Both or LEFT/RIGHT Left/Right Engine GND START Fully fueled, instruments on, the engine RPM spins up but doesnt catch and zero's after a few seconds. I'm missing a switch arent I?

That should be sending up all sorts of red flags that you have so little space on your C drive for even a tiny program like EditVoicePack (the files it modifies are all in your flight sim install folder btw). You need to invest in a second drive or a bigger primary drive. Does your motherboard support NVME?

I loved Chaseplane, so easy to setup and use, but they wanted full price for the v6 version (50 squid nearly!) and it wasnt included in the recent spring sale they had. V. disappointing & theyve lost a customer. /rant

The 'nuclear option' is to delete everything relating to AIG from your Windows & P3D install. 1. Delete OCI from the AIG app. 2. Delete the AIGTECH folder from C:\ProgramData 3. Edit the ADD-ONS.CFG file in C:\ProgramData\LockheedMartin\ to remove the entry :- [Package.n] PATH=G:\Programs\AIGAIM - OCI\OCI-Configuration TITLE=AIGAIM AI Traffic ACTIVE=true REQUIRED=false Then delete the AIG app and download and reinstall it (dont forget to check the Admin option in properties) from the website. As I said though, this may be overkill, especially if you cannot get more help from AIG.

Not had any problems whatsoever in the last 24 hours. The app updated itself yesterday, flight plans updated ok, installed 20 or so new airlines, same today with no problems at all.

I tried to get the 737 working in v5 a long time ago without success. The MVAMS just gives me the following error :- And if I select the 737 in the sim (after copy/pasting to the v5 root) it locks up and crashed to desktop.

To be brutally frank I would recommend abandoning PATC entirely and trying the far superior Pro Flight 3 from Oncourse. Its recently been made freeware. https://oncourse-software.co.uk/index.htm

AIG isnt compatible with FSX, try World of AI or a payware option (Ultimate Traffic 2 works very well).

I found a link on the Simviation forum regarding PBR conversions of some older freeware/default aircraft for use in P3D, but the trail has gone cold with regards to any links to files. It isnt possible to sign up to that forum. I was EXTREMELY sceptical but it does exactly what it claims. I have NO idea how, but it works beautifully. I even tried it on P3D v3.4 and the frame rates are amazing - also on 4,5,and v6 with the same result. Thumbs up and would recommend, expecially at such a low price. 5/5!
